TLC’s Most Disliked Men, Hosted By The Fourth?

Over the years, TLC has cast some of the most atrocious men possible. In a way, it has served the network well. By keeping these gents around, it has kept the network in the news. Now, the top three most disliked men have been selected. Yet, in a twist, was the fourth most disliked the one who selected them? This should be interesting.

TLC’s Questionable Casting Decisions

Over the past decade or so, the network has seemingly made a handful of questionable casting decisions. A few of them involved the hit series 90 Day Fiance. More specifically, the spinoff, Before the 90 Days. It has not had the best casting, starting with Paul Staehle. He came in with a record and it was actually something he was nervous to share with his love Karine Martins. When he had to divulge such info to her family in order to marry her, that was a real moment of truth. Though they did end up getting married and having a family, their relationship has been extremely combative. Karine was recently caught on tape attacking Paul with their son watching. Next up is Big Ed Brown. He also appeared on another season of the spinoff and many felt that he was a predator.

Though he never had a criminal record (that anyone knows of), he was atrocious he to his love in the Philipines. He insulted her breath, told her to shave her legs, and was generally horrific. In the spinoff, The Single Life, he pursued a young restaurant manager, Liz, and became the guy who caught feelings with everyone. Now, he is engaged to Liz but fans want him off their screens. Finally, Geoffrey Paschel might be the worst of all of them. He went in having a bad past, so rough that he and his love, Varya were removed from the tell-all. In February, he was sentenced to eighteen years behind bars. Yet none of these men were voted in the top three. So, who made it, and who did the ranking?

And The Awards Go To…

Matt Ronan, father of Jenna from Unexpected, decided to do a TikTok ranking the Most Disliked Men of TLC. This is rich coming from him considering there was a call for him to be fired from the series last season. He may have redeemed himself this year but the Reddit thread calling for his removal still stands. Here is his ranking:

Number three is Kody Brown followed by Josh Duggar at number two. The winner was Jason Korpi and this got a lot of debate on Reddit and with valid reasoning:

  • “I completely Disagree. It should’ve been Jason in second place, then Joshua Duggar in first place. There’s no way with Joshua Duggars interest for little children to take place over anyone. Kody Brown will forever place last in anything in his life”
  • “I think a felon convicted of possessing and sharing child sexual abuse media is more despised than the barely literate moron from Dumblin.”
  • “I hate Jason’s Dad more than any of them.”

Someone noted that some of the 90 Day cast was worse and that is a true statement. What do you think of Matt’s assessment? Let us know and watch part two of the Unexpected tell-all Sunday on TLC.
