Baby Fever? Peta Murgatroyd Dishes On Plans For Second Baby
Is baby fever in the air? Former Dancing With The Stars pros Peta Murgatroyd and Maks Chmerkovskiy are already the parents of one adorable son, Shai. But it seems like they really want to have more children.
The family of three recently attended Sharna Burgess’ baby shower. Peta and Sharna met on the set of DWTS and have been great friends for years. But now that Sharna is about to welcome her first child with her partner Brian Austin Green, it seems like Peta’s baby fever is really kicking in.
Keep reading to learn a little bit more about the dancer’s latest family plans.
Peta Murgatroyd would love to have a new bundle of joy at home
Peta Murgatroyd wasn’t on Dancing With The Stars during Season 30. It’s not immediately clear whether she stepped away from the show or they didn’t ask her to come back. But either way, she still keeps up with her castmates. They all had a pretty happy reunion at Sharna’s baby shower.
The Australian dancer also still enjoys keeping up with her fans. She recently hosted a live Q&A session with fans online. And of course, people want to know if Peta wanted to have any more children.
“Working on it 🙂 in fact we just worked on it lol…” Peta joked with the fan. “No seriously, you all will get some info coming at you soon about our family.”
And furthermore, she wants to be an aunt. Maks’ younger brother Val is married to Jenna Johnson. Peta really wants them to have a few children as well.
“Yessssss OMG they would make beautiful babies @jennajohnson @valentin ….. and Shai needs a cousin,” Peta replied to a fan who asked about Val and Jenna’s family plans.
Peta also added that she’s always open to taking photos with fans, as long as they respect her boundaries when she’s out with her son. She politely asked that fans refrain from photographing Shai when they see the family out and about together.
Will the dancer return to the ballroom this fall?
Peta Murgatroyd may want to expand her family, but she also wants to keep her dancing career alive. She said in a recent interview that she would love to return to DWTS if the show asks her to come back.
“If they call me, I would gladly put up my hand and say, ‘You know, I want to do that,’” Peta told PopCulture.com. “That’s my first love, so I would not want to give that up type of thing. So yeah, [I’d] hopefully get a good partner and go all the way.”
