Hallmark’s Christmas In July 2022 premieres with My Grown-Up Christmas List. This movie stars Kayla Wallace (Snowed In For Christmas, When Calls The Heart), Kevin McGarry (Heartland, The Wedding Veil), Lindsay Merrithew, Susan Hamann, James M. Jenkinson, Cory Lee, Captain Adam Kerney (Colton Royce) Barb Barrett, Colonel Clay Murphy, Nathan, and Annie Grantham.
Bryar Freed (The Rooftop Christmas Tree, Love Finds You In Valentine), and Shawn Riopelle (Lemonade Stand Romance, Stalked By A Prince) wrote the script. Andrew Cymek (Sappy Holiday, Unperfect Christmas Wish) is the director.
What Is My Grown-Up Christmas List About?
According to the Hallmark synopsis, this movie “tells the heartwarming story of Taylor Nichols (Wallace) and Luke Malone (McGarry) and the special bond that grows between them over the course of several Christmases spent together and apart.”
Taylor, a successful journalist, has returned home after her mom’s passing a few years prior to help her grandfather with his Christmas store. And Luke has just returned home from military duty to spend the holidays with his family.
When Taylor and Luke meet, their chemistry is undeniable, and we follow them along their journey from a warm friendship to a budding romance. They work together to overcome any challenges that arise and commit to making the most important wish on their Christmas list come true – to spend every Christmas together for the rest of their lives.

The premiere of My Grown-Up Christmas List is on Saturday, July 9, at 8 p.m., Eastern on Hallmark. Note that this is a change from the original premiere date of July 16. Encore showings include Sunday, July 10, at 6 p.m., Thursday, July 14, at 10 p.m., Sunday, July 17, at 12 p.m., Saturday, July 23, at 4 p.m., and Wednesday, July 27, at 6 p.m., Eastern. When Calls The Heart Stars Couple In Real Life
The stars of Hallmark’s My Grown-Up Christmas List, Kayla Wallace, and Kevin McGarry, are a couple in real life. They met on the set of When Calls The Heart when they both joined the show during Season 6.
They started as friends, and now they are so much more. Moreover, Kevin and Kayla have also starred in another Hallmark movie that aired back in February. It was called Feeling Butterflies.
