Kardashian Family Barred Blac Chyna From Profiting Off Dream: How?
The Kardashian family is not making the current trial with Blac Chyna easy on her at all. Now, they are taking away the use of Dream Kardashian’s name. Here’s how they did it.
Kardashian family claims Dream’s name
The Kardashian family is not taking the current trial they are in lightly. Right now, they are facing Blac Chyna in court. She claims that because of the Kardashian family her show with Rob (Rob and Chyna) ended. Of course, this could also have something to do with the fact that the couple broke up in 2017. However, Chyna isn’t listening to any of it and she’s ready to fight for what’s hers.
Now though, the family may be hitting her where it hurts now. According to The Sun, they are preventing Chyna from using her daughter’s name (Dream Kardashian) to open any businesses.
They have actually used Dream’s name to secure five different brands all through the Kardashian by filing five different trademarks. This ensures that Chyna will never be able to use the Kardashian name to make any money. In the past, it’s been reported that Chyna would do anything to get the famous family name. So, it makes sense that they are stopping this before it gets started.
Dream’s trademarked brands
Despite Dream only being five years old, she now has the opportunity to start five different brands.
One for non-medicated skin care preparations and cosmetics, another for clothing, a fourth for entertainment and celebrity appearances and then finally, one for brand endorsements. Overall, it seems there is nowhere in the market for Chyna to enter under the Kardashian name – even if it is her own daughter.
Of course, this couldn’t be done without some kind of parental support considering Dream is only five. That’s where her dad, Rob, comes into play.
Rob has signed off on all of these trademarks and is now considered the CEO of all of them. While Rob is prominently featured, Chyna, of course, is nowhere to be seen. This completely bans her from making money off the Kardashian name.
While the Kardashians continue to fight this battle, it will be interesting to see who comes out on top.
