Blac Chyna Signed Show Away For 100k & Owes Big Taxes?
Blac Chyna might have signed her right to prevent the cancelation of the KUWTK spinoff series, Rob & Chyna, in exchange for $100,000. The model has been struggling in the court trial that kicked off this week. During the second day of the cross-examination on Thursday, April 21, she couldn’t keep up with the Kardashian’s lawyer, Michael Rhodes. Chyna was questioned about everything from her relationship with Rob Kardashian and their breakup.
As TV Shows Ace previously reported, she had to answer questions about the nude photo scandal that plagued her to this day. Chyna revealed that Rob leaked them without her consent on social media. She was stone-faced and quiet for much of the trial this week. However, when it came to the nude photo leak, she broke down and showed emotion.
Blac Chyna grilled about her finances
According to a new report, Blac Chyna revealed that she doesn’t own a personal bank account. She didn’t save her text messages with Rob from the time of their tumultuous relationship. The video vixen didn’t file her taxes since 2018, which suggests she has big taxes to pay. Chyna claimed that she struggled with financial problems ever since the cancelation of their show, Rob & Chyna.
Per Insider, jurors discovered on February 21, 2017, that she may have signed away the cancellation of their show. Blac Chyna allowed the show to get canned in exchange for $100,000. She is suing Kris Jenner and her daughters Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner. The OnlyFans content creator accused them of canceling the series and keeping her from a lucrative reality TV career.
During the fourth day of the trial, jurors found out that Chyna’s signature may have allowed the E! network to end the show. Rob & Chyna was canceled as they filmed the first four episodes of the second season. Chyna claims she didn’t see that clause in the contract. She tried to convince the Los Angeles jury that the Kardashian-Jenner family were the ones who killed the 2016 spinoff series.
Hasn’t paid her taxes in four years
Blac Chyna also answered questions about her claim the cancelation cost her tens of millions of dollars in income. She revealed that she doesn’t own a personal bank account. In addition, Chyna hasn’t filed her taxes since 2018. She doesn’t have any updated tax statements to declare her financial status.
The former reality star didn’t keep the text messages from Rob during that time. Blac Chyna grew irritated and ask the lawyer to let Rob take the stand to get their texts. She couldn’t keep the details of their breakup story straight. At first, Chyna claimed they split in May 2017, right after the nude photo scandal.
Then she claimed they ended their relationship in December 2016, when she accused Rob of domestic abuse. Chyna backtracked and said they broke up in May 2017. The former couple was on-and-off throughout the time they were together. This comes after Wednesday’s testimony when Chyna admitted to strangling Rob and pointing a gun at his head.
