‘Love After Lockup’ EXCLUSIVE Preview- Lacey Vs. Antoine’s Mom
This season of Love After Lockup has been a rollercoaster, to say the least. It is only two episodes in but people are already stuck in prison. Furthermore, one cast member is refusing to stay in the home they are paroled to. Finally, Lacey is getting ready to take a risk on her much younger inmate boyfriend. First, she has to meet with his mother and set things straight. Can she or will it go up in smoke?
Lacey And Antoine Search For Love After Lockup
When Lacey first met Antoine, she was married for almost two decades. Yet Antoine lit a fire inside of her that could not be ignored. However, there were a few things to be considered. First off, he is twelve years younger than her. Secondly, she is friends with his mother hence how they met. His mother knows this relationship could be a disaster as did Antoine when he first started hanging out with Lacey. When he realized she was still married, he put the brakes on the situation. That was when she decided to completely end her marriage so they could be together. Unfortunately, life had other plans.
Antoine got arrested and everything halted. Eventually, Lacey received a phone call from her young lover while he was behind bars. They began pursuing a relationship and have now been together for two years. He is fixing to be released from jail and she is over the moon. Unfortunately, they have not been in a real relationship since she has been divorced. More so, she has not truly talked to his mother and her old friend about dating him. In tomorrow night’s new episode, Lacey has a face-to-face with Antoine’s mother. How will it go?
The Face-To-Face With Mama
In an exclusive preview of this week’s episode, Lacey sits down with Antoine’s mother, Kristy who was once her good friend. They meet at a restaurant and Kristy openly admits she does not like what is going on. At first, it is unclear what is bothering her more. Is it the fact that Lacey was once her married friend or is the age difference? Immediately, Lacey notes that Kristy is drinking and it was never like this before. Lacey attributes it to Antoine being in prison.
Kristy asks where the relationship is headed but she does not like Lacey’s optimism. She lets her know that her son is a monster and a liar. Kristy tells Lacey she is naive but neither woman can agree on who is right and who is wrong. Guess this will just take time. Find out who is right when Love After Lockup airs Friday nights on WEtv.
