'Tall Girl 2': Netflix Release Date Confirmed, Happening Soon

When we last reported on Tall Girl 2, the Netflix movie didn’t have a concrete release date just yet. Fortunately, that has changed recently as Netflix finally revealed the release date for the Tall Girl sequel. Turns out, the release date is right around the corner, and subscribers that were fans of the original Netflix Original film couldn’t be more excited.

When is the Netflix release date for Tall Girl 2?

According to Decider, Tall Girl is recognized as one the best newer Netflix Original films. So, it is no surprise subscribers are looking forward to the release of the sequel. Fortunately, subscribers won’t have to wait too long as the teenage rom-com has a Netflix release date that is right around the corner. Next week, actually, on February 11th is when the sequel of this Netflix Original film will drop.

As we previously reported, Tall Girl fans can rest easy knowing that the entire cast is returning for the sequel. According to the trailer, the sequel will also introduce several new cast members. Here’s the official synopsis for Tall Girl 2:

After her inspiring speech at the homecoming dance, Jodi (Ava Michelle) is no longer just the ‘tall girl’ – she’s popular, confident, has a boyfriend, and just booked the lead role in this year’s school musical. But as the pressure of her newfound popularity intensifies, so do her insecurities, and new relationships are formed while old ones are tested. As the world she built starts to crumble around her, Jodi realizes that standing tall was only just the beginning.”

What to expect from Tall Girl 2

Despite being just two minutes long, the trailer for Tall Girl 2 delivers a lot of information on what to expect. The trailer reveals the relationship between Jack Dunkleman and Jodi becoming strained. Things seem to get even worse when it becomes clear her co-star for the play she’s starring in has a romantic interest in her.

At the very end of the trailer, it is also revealed that Jack’s father makes the decision to bring Stig’s sister to America as well.

Jodi’s relationship with her sister Harper seems stronger than ever. In the comments of the trailer on YouTube, Netflix subscribers admit Harper’s advice about a person’s worse bully being the one they create in their own head being a very powerful quote they look forward to hearing in the movie.
