‘MAFS’ Photos From Alyssa Ellman’s Past Surface Identifying Her ‘Type’
Season 14 of MAFS is currently airing on Lifetime and one bride already has fans fuming. Alyssa Ellman met and married Chris Collette at the altar. However, things weren’t exactly right from the beginning and Alyssa is taking a lot of heat over her treatment of Chris. Now, photos have emerged online from Alyssa’s past. These photos seemingly identify the specific type of man she’s looking for. Keep reading to find out more.
MAFS Alyssa Ellman has fans disliking her
Fans are stunned that the experts allowed a “cold” person like Alyssa Ellman to be on MAFS. She said before she ever met Chris Collette that physical attraction and looks were important to her. However, with this unusual process, there has to be open-mindedness. She showed none. Now, it seems her “type” has been identified as photos from her past have surfaced online.
Alyssa even commented that Chris looked the part of a real estate agent. She didn’t mean it kindly.
MAFSfan on Instagram shared a photo collage showing Alyssa with a certain type of man. The photos are said to be about five years old. The caption read, “Since these are already floating around Reddit and Facebook …These photos are from about 5 years ago. So, needless to say, MAFS Chris just MIGHT not have been her physical type. 😆”
Fans commented on the post saying Chris deserves more. Many also couldn’t believe someone involved with saving animals could be so cold. The comments continued on that many think experts should never have cast her. There were even multiple calls for Chris to get another shot at Married at First Sight. Most want to see Alyssa gone and out of the picture.
Other fans had similar comments. One said, “The entire point of this show is to marry… a stranger… At least f****** TRY.”

Things were bad between Alyssa and Chris from the beginning. She admitted pretty quickly he wasn’t her type. She also made things even worse and more awkward by walking out of their suite on their wedding night. Alyssa wanted to be alone and think things over. Chris was left stunned and wondering what he did or said wrong.
It seems most likely that their marriage will not work out. Alyssa isn’t being open to getting to know Chris and forming a real connection.

It’s going to be painful if we are forced to watch this narcissistic woman for the entire season. It is so wrong when they have people like her and then force her partner and the rest of the world to put up with her nasty attitude for way too long. When a marriage starts off with someone who is so completely checked out, but wants to stick around just for the vacation, good food, and partying with the other couples WHY can’t the producers spare us the pain and just call it quits? And spare poor Chris? He should not have to continue to put up with this miserable woman.

This is so painful to watch. Alyssa should be ashamed of herself and I do feel so sorry for Chris. This certainly was not what he signed up for and deserves better. Alyssa should be asked to leave the show. She “checked out” on Chris from the very beginning.

Lindsey has her “extra” moments, and she is 0 to 100 is seconds, but her face gives her away when it comes to her distain of Alyssa. Alyssa should be kicked off the show and give Chris another go the next go round. He has been nothing but a straight up gentleman and keeps getting bashed by her at every turn, and the other couples know this too. ALYSSA NEEDS TO GO! Boo……..Get it together MAFS! She is delusional. Even her mom told her to be nice on the show! She was only there for the vacation since her bo wasn’t there. She lies like a sailor… to everyone. I just hate her. Ugly ugly person all around!
From the start, Alyssa seemed not to have confidence in the marriage. Her expectations may have been set too high, since experts were involved, to include LOVE at first sight. I believe at a subconscious level she could have been putting Chris through what we guys call a sh!t test. She may not have been aware she was putting him through these tests herself. While he was of course upset she tapped out, it may have been the opportunity for Chris to be very empathetic, not challenging her on why she was having the feelings she was. It would be a great kindness to do so.
The people that seem to get picked for MAFS can’t find long-term relationships on their own to begin with. Then experts put two people who have poor history of establishing a long-term relationship over many years under the most difficult situation one could think of–married right away, cameras everywhere, no privacy. If people can’t get through this situation, how will they face the tough choices in life and overcome them?

Agree with what Judi said at 12:55 am. Why did Alyssa sign up for this show when she won’t even give her “husband” a shot? You know people could work out and get in shape but it’s harder to build good character. Alyssa is truly painful to watch. It seems she’s decided to have a bad attitude and check out the minute she saw him.

I feel so sorry for Chris. That girl needs some serious therapy. She has deep issues and they owe Chris a new wife! I think I’ll be fast forwarding through their scenes. It’s just too painful to watch. I subscribed to Chris’s YouTube channel just to give him a boost. This kind of mean person doesn’t make me want to watch her. I so much enjoy the happy endings. When I first saw that the “experts” had paired these two together, I was certain Alyssa would not find him attractive. He’s a super nice guy, but very much in his head and shows little emotion, whereas Alyssa is ALL emotion. Chris is an OK looking guy, but he does not deserve to be abused!

Don’t believe what people say about themselves, believe how they treat others. In spite of how she tries to convince us what a “great ****ing person” she is, Alyssa is clearly a horrible human being. She’s small-minded, immature, mean and I suspect not terribly bright. Notice, too, how she plays the eternal victim when she repeatedly wails “it’s not my fault!”. And her accusation that it’s Chris who’s making her look bad is laughable: she’s doing that all on her own with no help from anyone! I feel so sorry for Chris. He seems to be a really decent, well-intentioned man & it’s got to be hurtful to be subjected to such vile behaviour from someone he legitimately believed was in this process for the same reasons he is. The problem isn’t the “experts” (they’re obviously not experts), it’s the producers, who continually cast people for the drama rather than trying to create lasting matches. Most of the nicer, genuine cast members don’t realize soon enough they’re being used as guinea pigs for ratings.

I think the experts pick people they know who will create drama. What would the ratings be if everyone was married at the end, if everyone was 100% happy. Nobody would watch. Drama $$$ sells $$$. How many lives are destroyed by MAFS? I don’t know but I’m going to watch more to find out (I guess I am one of the guilty people who contribute to the show doing this type damage).
MAFS always has one “shock couple” that you know is just for ratings. Unfortunately Chris has been chosen to be part of this drama. I hope Chris knows it has absolutely NOTHING to do with him, or his looks or his character – Alyssa is an insecure, unstable B and will never have a functional relationship. Chris is trying to make the best of the situation but not because he is weak or needy, but because he is doing the right thing and showing his respectful character. He deserves an award for his patience! I think he should be flirting and hooking up with every girl he can at the resort.

Never have I ever….wanted someone to fail in life more than Alyson Ellman! She is probably the worst person I’ve ever seen on reality TV, and that includes Chris Williams. I yell so many awful things at her on my TV that I’m surprised my neighbors haven’t called. What a witch!

Her friend stated on a site that she was diagnosed as skitzo and told DR she will not be going back and refused to take the meds and they better not document it on her charts. That might be why she acts the way she does as she is hearing and seeing things NOT THERE! Maybe MAFS should update contract for mental illness that if it becomes noticeable, they can void the contract. They are fined if they leave so she is trying to make him look bad, probably someone has given her the advice to act like a victim. All she wants is a free vacation. MAFS experts, this time I am not blaming you. Alyssa came on the show just to be on the show, she is not gving Chris a chance at all. She is always saying not fair, someone trying to make her look bad. Heck that is what she is doing all by herself. Episode 6 putting the nail in the coffin when she said she wanted to move into the apartment by herself just for her friends. This is a “MARRIAGE” not a vaca girl. There is an underlying story with her that she is not revealling: Chris is a great, handsome and understanding guy, but he needs to walk away. Alyssa cannot please anyone but herself. for herself. She keep saying “not fair” and “I have tried”: not fair to Chris YES, and what the hell have you done to “try” to make this work. Chris get away from that person fast and forever
