‘Ozark’ Season 4 Part 2: Marty Byrde’s Fate & Premiere Date
There’s lots of curiosity and speculation about how things will ultimately end for Marty Byrde and his family on Ozark. The first part of the final season premiered on Netflix in January and now fans are anxiously awaiting the conclusion to the exciting series starring Jason Bateman as Marty Byrde. When can fans watch the remainder of the final season and what will be Mary’s fate?
When fans can see the conclusion to Ozark
The final episodes of Ozark will air on Netflix beginning April 29. Previews dropped along with the release date on Tuesday and fans are dreading what it appears may be coming in the final episodes.
Variety shared a look at what fans can expect to see come April 29. In the final seven episodes, fans will find out what happens to the characters they love and the characters they love to hate.
The official synopsis for Season 4 Part 2 says, “Marty and Wendy are rid of Helen and climb to the top of Navarro’s empire. They find another opportunity to get out of the Ozarks but some past sins won’t stay buried and the most dangerous threats come from blood.”
Ozark gets heated when Ruth seeks out revenge over the death of Wyatt. In the official preview, Wendy Byrde (Laura Linney) tells Marty he’s desperate to be the good guy.
Right now nobody knows what happens to Marty and his family although some fans fear the worst.
Many think Marty must die
ScreenRant shared the reasons why many fans think Marty must pay the ultimate price in Ozark. He has tried since Season 1 to escape the Navarro cartel. He even considered suicide as an option.
Now, everything is going to come to a crashing end. Ruth is out for revenge and deadset on killing Javi for killing Wyatt. Regardless, nothing will stop the cartel. It seems when one leaves power another just slides back into their place leaving Marty and his family still bound to them.
Fans think the only way for fans to have closure and Marty to get his fair ending is for him to sacrifice himself for his family’s freedom. This seems to be the only option Marty has to ever be free of Navarro’s grips.
Of course, this is all speculation, and what happens to his family and ultimately Marty is still a mystery.
A Farewell to Ozark
A special called A Farewell to Ozark will also premiere on April 29. It is a 30-minute special that will detail the filming of the final season.
