‘RHOSLC‘ Mary Cosby Blasted: Encouraging Suicide? Tells Fan To Jump
Mary Cosby seriously messed up this time. The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star has been under fire recently for racially-charged comments and now she’s being blasted online for encouraging suicide. Here’s how Cosby is trying to backtrack her statements and make up with fans now.
Mary Cosby Slammed For Mocking Asian Accent
Prior to her latest faux pas, Cosby was already the center of controversy after making racially insensitive comments about RHOSLC co-star, Jennie Nguyen. She was called out by fans for talking about Nguyen’s facial features, calling her yellow, and discussing her “slanted eyes.” Mary also mocked Jennie’s accent. This sent fans of the show reeling.

Eventually, Nguyen confronted Cosby about her actions. She asked that she take some responsibility for what she’s said. Nguyen pointed out that there is a lot of Asian hate in the world right now and Cosby should own what she said and apologize. Mary did eventually apologize but fans questioned whether it was honestly heartfelt.
Fellow RHOSLC co-star Meredith Marks also weighed in on the situation on Twitter. She stated that she met with Mary one on one, hoping they could have a productive conversation about everything. She also reached out to Jennie to let her know she had Meredith’s support as well. However, once the episode with all of this aired, fans lit Mary up online. After reading some of the tweets, Mary got heated.
Mary Tells Fan To Jump
When Meredith tweeted about the conversations going on behind the camera one fan asked, “What the h*ll is wrong with Mary?” Mary took it upon herself to respond. In her tweet, she told the fan to “go jump.”

Almost immediately, other RHOSLC fans started slamming Mary for encouraging suicide. One tweet said no woman of God, like Mary claims to be, would even tell someone else to “go jump.” Other fans chimed in about Mary’s actions and stated this isn’t the first time she’s done something disappointing. Cosby often spouts hurtful language with no real sense of remorse. It seems like fans may have finally had enough. One person even tweeted that they have given up on Mary altogether. She’s made it pretty clear she doesn’t want to change.
The Real Housewives crew are no stranger to drama. There have already nearly been fistfights since the show’s return on January 2. Where Mary is concerned though, it seems fans simply aren’t interested in subscribing to the drama she’s involved in anymore. They’ve had enough of the way she speaks without thinking about the consequences. That being said, only time will tell how Mary’s latest actions impact her popularity and her spot on the show. You can tune in to Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Sundays at 9 p.m. EST on Bravo.
