Sweet Home Sextuplets dad Eric Waldrop found a clever way to keep all nine kids quiet. Eric shares all nine children with his wife Courtney Waldrop. The family has been sharing photos and footage of their holiday festivities. Their children sure keep them busy, especially around the holiday season.
Since kids get so excited about Christmas, it can be hard to quiet them down. Most parents have trouble keeping up with one child, let alone nine. It can be hard when one child is running around and another is screaming and crying. But the Waldrops have become experts when it comes to reigning in their nine children.
Eric Waldrop celebrated a milestone
As TV Shows Ace previously reported, the patriarch celebrated a special day. On Monday, December 20, Courtney took to Instagram to announce that it’s her husband’s 40th birthday. She shared a clip of Eric looking very dapper in reflective goggles. He also wore a gray sweatshirt with a blue polo underneath. The clip also showed photos of Eric with their kids.
The video read, “Happy 40th birthday, Eric!” Courtney had a lot more to write in the Instagram post. She gushed about the father of her nine children.
“Eric turns the BIG 40 YEARS OLD TODAY
we have now celebrated 27 birthdays together
WOW!! That’s crazy to think about…HAPPY BIRTHDAY to a man that spends every second of his day doing for everyone else and loving us unconditionally!! We LOVE you so very much!!” Courtney wrote. “You make 40 look good…I’ll be there soon with you!!

The couple will have many more special moments to share with their children. Fans also took to the comment section to wish Eric a happy birthday. Some left messages, while others shared that they’re also celebrating a special occasion. As you can see, it’s been a busy week for the Waldrop family.
Sweet Home Sextuplets father manages to quiet his kids on Christmas Eve
The busy dad managed to quiet down all nine kids. Courtney shared this video via her Instagram Stories. She wrote, “Reading the Christmas Story!!” with two red heart emojis. The clip shows Eric talking to his children about this very important story they read every Christmas.
“The real reason why we celebrate Christmas,” Eric Waldrop told his children before sharing the story of baby Jesus.
The Christmas Story is a poetic book that brings the story of Jesus’ birth to life in both words and art. Artist Eloise Wilkin illustrated the beautiful artwork in this story. It was published by Little Golden Book in 1952. Eric makes sure to read this story every Christmas to remind their kids of the true meaning of Christmas.
