Dolores Catania of The Real Housewives of New Jersey fame has a new man. She’s already showing him off on social media. This comes on the heels of her split from her ex-boyfriend David Prince. In Season 11 of the Bravo series, she gave him an ultimatum and it didn’t work.

So, she moved on. The reality star has been rolling around in the sand with her hunky new man. Dolores has been sharing a lot of content from her holiday vacation. As TV Shows Ace previously reported, Dolores posted a bikini photo, which caught the attention of Teresa Giudice’s ex-husband Joe Giudice.

Dolores Catania and David Prince “grew apart”

The couple ended their relationship over the summer. An insider told Us Weekly that they simply “grew apart” and they “didn’t progress” into what the Bravo star was looking for. Dolores and David started dating in 2017. The couple became the main focus of RHONJ Season 11.

Even her co-stars asked her if David would ever propose. At the time, she “didn’t care if they were going to get engaged.” It was the lack of time together that put a wrench into their relationship.

“She gave her all but didn’t get the same from David,” the insider told the outlet. “He was non-existent in her social life and rarely made appearances at events with her. They just had different lives and weren’t able to make it work. She wasn’t happy on the inside and for a while, she hid her true feelings from friends.”

Earlier this year, the 50-year-old reality star revealed that going under the knife caused tension between her and David. She wanted to focus on herself and what made her happy. Yet, the 57-year-old didn’t agree with her plans. It came to a point where it made him really angry with her. Their constant issues have also caused “family stress fractures in the relationship.”

After their split, the 50-year-old reflected on what she really wanted in a man. The most important thing to her is a man who can handle her relationship with her ex-husband. Dolores also needs a man who’s strong enough to handle her bold personality. She also doesn’t want him involved with her family relationships.

Dolores may have found that man with her new boyfriend Paul Connell. A mutual friend introduced the couple. She’s reportedly “happy” with her new relationship and she’s already been showing him off on social media. The two are never apart and they share a lot of common interests. She connects on a deeper level with him than she did with David and she loves that he’s charitable.

The fans won’t get to see their relationship flourish on Season 12. Still, Dolores and her new guy have “amazing chemistry,” as witnessed by her Instagram account. The two are currently on a trip to St. Martin.
