Lisa Rinna & Erika Girardi Test Postive For Covid

Lisa Rinna and Erik Girardi have both tested positive for COVID-19. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 12 shut down production for a second time. The first time took place during Season 11. At the time, Kyle Richards, Dorit Kemsley, and Kathy Hilton tested positive for COVID. That outbreak also happened around the same time, during the holiday season.

Though production shared that it’s doing its part to remain safe, the virus can still strike. There was a breakthrough case of COVID-19 on set. The Bravo show is now on a brief pause because of it. Producers resumed RHOBH Season 12 in an attempt to get as much drama from Erika’s ongoing legal case.

According to People, Lisa Rinna and Erika Girardi aren’t the only ones who tested positive for the coronavirus. Their co-star Garcelle Beauvais recently tested positive as well. An insider spoke to the outlet about the cast and crew. Production is doing its best to keep everyone safe.

“The girls who are sick are trying to take care of themselves. The other cast members are nervous now that they might have it,” an insider told People. “Production is taking every precaution to keep people safe. All of the ladies are vaccinated. They’re fine and will be fine because of it.”

Garcelle was one of the first Housewives to speak out about it. The co-host of The Real shared the news of her COVID diagnosis on Monday, December 13. She said that she feels okay and has a feeling it will stay that way. Garcelle’s 14-year-old twin sons Jax and Jaid got tested, and their results came back negative.

They will continue to play it safe with regular testing. The 55-year-old actress admitted that she “may show up” via Zoom for her upcoming appearances on the reality series. Garcelle also shared an important health PSA with fans.

While Garcelle gave an update, both Lisa Rinna and Erika Girardi have kept mum since the positive diagnosis. The reality stars did not return People’s request for comment. Rinna and Erika last made an appearance at the 2021 People’s Choice Awards alongside their RHOBH co-stars Dorit Kemsley, Kyle Richards, Crystal Kung Minkoff, and Sutton Stracke.

Filming on Season 12 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills began shortly after the previous season wrapped up. Production wants to focus on Erika’s ongoing divorce from Tom Girardi as the results play out in real-time. However, this case could take several years since the couple hasn’t even reached an agreement in their divorce settlement yet.
