Lala Kent, Randall Emmett: Is There Hope For Reconciliation?
Lala Kent and Randall Emmett never publicly confirmed their split. At first, Pump Rules fans assumed that the couple went their separate ways. It all started when Randall was spotted heading into a Nashville hotel with two mystery women. This led Lala to enter into a Beverly Hills Hotel with their daughter, Ocean, and her two friends.
Since then, the two have been apart. Lala and Randall even shared individual snapshots with their seven-month-old daughter. Randall tried to win his ex-fiance back by using his kids, but it hasn’t worked. Read on to see if their three-year engagement is over.
No longer fighting for Lala Kent
Last week, it was rumored that Randall Emmett was doing everything in his power to win back Lala Kent. VPR fans even accused him of using his daughter from a previous relationship. Now, he’s tired of trying to get her back. Lala reportedly moved out of their Bel Air home just days after the cheating rumors swirled.
“Randall has been trying to win her back,” an inside source told E! News last week. “He is doing anything to make her happy.”
On Saturday, October 30, an insider told TMZ that “the engagement has been called off on both sides” and “there’s no hope of reconciliation.” Randall only wants to focus on raising their daughter together. He also shares two other children from his previous marriage with Ambyr Childers.
As TV Shows Ace previously reported, Randall has gone through financial hardship. His attorney addressed his legal drama with his ex-wife. The Hollywood producer asked a judge to decrease his child support payments. He has been struggling to keep up with the payments on a monthly basis.
Randall Emmett didn’t win her over
As Vanderpump Rules fans know, the Give Them Lala author does not back down without a fight. Lala Kent already made up her mind when it came to finding out what Randall did behind her back. While she no longer wants to be with him, she will not remove their child from his life. Instead, she will work out a co-parenting relationship with him.
“She isn’t going to take Ocean away from her dad,” the insider told E! News. “Lala will continue to co-parent with Randall, but she is done with him romantically at this point.”
Lala Kent “has been apartment hunting” at the moment. Regardless, the former couple has still been “talking” to one another. Randall doesn’t want to be without the reality star, but she’s ready to move on. Right now, Lala is focused on her daughter.
“She’s focused on Ocean, herself, and looking to the future,” the source continued. “She’s spending time with friends, and Randall is trying to make it work and doesn’t want to call things off.”
Neither Lala nor Randall have publicly commented on their split. The COVID-19 pandemic through a wrench into their relationship. They found themselves at odds for most of it. Vanderpump Rules airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
