Wendy Williams Takes Another Hit, Ex Kevin Hunter Engaged To Sharina Hudson
Wendy Williams continues to have a tough year. Due to complications from Graves Disease Williams has been sidelined from her daytime talk show, The Wendy Williams Show. She is also dealing with the latest news of her ex-Kevin Hunter’s recent engagement.
Williams ex-Kevin Hunter has popped the question to baby mama Sharina Hudson with an $80k diamond ring. Per The Sun, sources close to Hunter reveal he bought the ring back in 2020 before Wendy’s health crisis’ began surfacing. Insiders reveal that Kevin and Sharina are very happy and have been living together with their baby in Florida.
Wendy Williams Remains Silent On Hunter’s Engagement
Fans believe that the news of Hunter’s engagement to Hudson will likely be a tough pill for Williams to swallow. So far Wendy is remaining silent, and choosing to deal with the news on her own terms. However, sources claim she has enough on her plate at the time being with her health issues and should focus on her recovery. It has been two years since the cheating scandal, and Williams is doing her best to move on with her life.
So far, neither Wendy Williams nor Kevin Hunter’s reps are commenting on the engagement. Fans believe that if Wendy has anything she feels the need to comment about she will do so when she feels up to it, and the time is right. The cheating scandal really hit Williams hard.
As previously reported Wendy Williams was previously looking forward to returning to her daytime talk show. However, complications with her health have prevented Williams from doing so at this time. In the beginning, Wendy was not happy with the idea of her show’s producers deciding to add in replacement hosting guests.
Tough Year For Wendy Williams
Earlier this month actress Leah Remini took on a week-long hosting gig for Williams. However, Wendy was very upset by Remini being selected without her approval as a replacement host. Sources close to Williams revealed she was more than upset, she was 100 percent against it. Williams claims it is her name on the door for the show and she feels very disrespected that her producers would make such decisions without as much as a consult with her.
Following the producer’s decisions, a statement was released reading; “Wendy Williams remains under medical supervision. She is making progress but is experiencing serious complications as a direct result of Grave’s Disease and her thyroid condition. Doctors feel that Wendy needs more time before she can return to her live hosting duties. We want her health to be the top priority. As soon as she is ready, she will be back in her treasured purple chair.”
Williams fans continue to show their support rooting her on for a full and speedy recovery. They continue to send their wells wishes and hope to soon see Wendy Williams return to daytime television as soon as she is ready.
