WWE Smackdown 10/1: 5 Must-See Moments, Full Results
Friday Night Smackdown kicked off the first night of the WWE Draft. Only three matches were on tap with Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair in the main event. The big news was the first four rounds of the draft, which caused a major shake-up in the WWE Universe. Here are 5 Must-See Moments on WWE Smackdown plus full results from the show.
WWE Smackdown: 5 Must-See Moments
Roman and Brock face-off
To kick off Friday Night Smackdown, Roman Reigns and the Bloodline came to the ring. Paul Heyman got on the microphone and predicted that Reigns would defeat Brock Lesnar at the Crown Jewel PPV later this month. Lesnar’s music then hit as the Beast made his way down to the ring and went face to face with Reigns. Reigns attacked Lesnar who quickly retaliated with a German suplex, before doing the same to the Usos.
WWE Draft Night 1
The first night of the WWE Draft kicked off on WWE Smackdown. The top four picks included Roman Reigns staying on Smackdown, and Big E. officially moving to Raw. Charlotte Flair was drafted to Friday Night Smackdown while Bianca Belair is headed to Raw.
Rollins crosses a line
Seth Rollins invades Edge’s house
Edge promised that he was going to be at WWE Smackdown to confront Seth Rollins and he kept that promise. With Edge on Smackdown, Seth Rollins appeared on the video wall and revealed that he was at Edge’s house and even went inside. Lucikly for Edge, his wife and kids were not at home.
Bianca and Sasha Main Event
In a Wrestlemania 37 rematch, Sasha Bank went one on one with Bianca Belair in the WWE Smackdown main event. Becky Lynch joined the announce team and made it clear that she wasn’t impressed with either woman. In the end, Lynch distracted Belair which allowed Banks to get the win on a roll-up. After the match, Charlotte appeared and beat down Banks and Belair before staring down with Lynch.
Brock declares himself a free agent
As Jeff Hardy was about to be interviewed, Brock Lesnar had a change of plans. The Beast sarcastically thanked Paul Heyman for making him a free agent who can go to any WWE show in pleased.
