WWE Raw moved forward as the WWE Universe sets its sights on the next PPV event Extreme Rules. Nia Jax clashed with Charlotte in a controversial contest that set Twitter on fire with speculation. Karrion Kross continued to dominate on Monday Nigth Raw, with Damon Priest fighting off two challengers for his United States Championship.

WWE Raw: 5 Must-Watch Moments

Nia Jax and Charlotte get sloppy
Earlier in the night, Nia Jax took out Rhea Ripley and Nikki A.S.H. to send a message to Raw Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair. In a non-title match, Jax had her opportunity to send a message. While Jax defeated Flair with a powerbomb, that was not the story coming out of the match. During the entire contest, it seemed like both women were not on the same page, so much so that the internet questioned if the match was a shoot. Jax was sloppy throughout, dropping Charollete in messy fashion which caused both women to stop and stare at times.

RKBro retain
In the most unlikely team since the Rock ‘n’ Sock Connection, RKBro has proven to be the best duo on Monday Night Raw. While RKBro recently won the tag titles, they had their toughest challenge to date squaring off against Bobby Lashley and MVP. In a match that went back and forth, Riddle was able to get the win for his team following a floating bro to MVP. Lashley attempted an attack after the match but was met with an RKO by Orton for his efforts.

Kross’ redemption

Karrion Kross continues his domination
Karrion Kross’ time on WWE Raw has been a mixed bag over the last few months. The former WWE NXT Champion has been at the top of the mountain but recently seemed saddled with a silly outfit and helmet. Despite this, Kross continued his winning ways with a mostly dominating win over Humberto Carrilo via the Kross Jacket.

Eva-Lution implodes
Earlier this summer, Eva Marie made her return to WWE Raw and did so with NXT UK’s Piper Niven by her side. Renamed “Doudrop,” the former Niven was promoted as the obese sidekick to the cosmetically superior Eva Marie. Since the start, the WWE Universe has been on the side of Doudrop, but haven’t cared much for Eva Marie who continues to be below average in the ring. In what was promoted as a major match, Doudrop beat down Eva Marie before the match that the referee declared a no contest.

Damian Priest successfully defends US Title
After shinning at Wrestlemania in a tag match with rapper Bad Bunny, Damian Priest has been on a roll. Priest’s momentum peaked with a win over Sheamus at Summerslam where he became the new United States Champion. In keeping with that momentum, Priest took on Sheamus and Drew McIntyre in a Triple Threat match. As expected, it was a hard-hitting contest with all three men having time to shine. Priest was able to beat the odds and get the win after hitting the Reckoning on McIntyre for a three count.
