Wells Adams Names His Favorite Guest Host, Teases Other ‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Drama
Move over, Chris Harrison! Wells Adam reveals which Season 7 Bachelor In Paradise host is his favorite. Plus, the BIP bartender dishes more dirt about what viewers can expect to see behind the bar this season.
Busy Nights on the Beach
Wells Adams is entering his fifth year as bartender/therapist for the BIP contestants. This year, he will be sticking around a little longer. When announcing guest hosts, the network revealed that Wells will be the “master of ceremonies,” presiding over the rose ceremonies.
The BIP alum is the perfect person to act as a sounding board to the contestants each season. When he’s not doling out advice, he’s mixing drinks. Us Weekly reminds readers that the show implemented a “two drinks per hour” decree to cut down on excessive drinking.
Bartending is a full-time job! The outlet reports that Wells is typically at the bar for eight or nine hours a day. When does he sleep?
Wells Adams Names Favorite Guest Host
Maybe Wells gets a cat nap in when the guest hosts are on duty. In the wake of Chris Harrison’s exit from the franchise, ABC decided to pick not one but FOUR celebrity hosts. Lil Jon, David Spade, Lance Bass, and Tituss Burgess will be the hosts with the most this season.
During a recent chat with Us Weekly, Wells had only positive things to say about each host. However, he let the magazine in on a little secret. He connected with one of the guest hosts more than the others. Which one is Wells’ favorite? None other than rapper Lil Jon!
Wells said, “Don’t tell the other guys, but Lil Jon was my favorite guest to have on the season of Bachelor in Paradise.”
Lil Jon had a slight unfair advantage. He teamed up with Wells for a Heineken commercial. That’s right, the BIP bar is now sponsored by the popular beer. Wells called the promotion a “perfect marriage.”
Which Contestant Spent the Most Time at the Bar?
Speaking of marriage, the contestants of BIP are not necessarily looking for an engagement like at the end of Bachelor/ette. However, that doesn’t mean there aren’t hookups and entanglements that Wells helps untangle. As such, some contestants spend more time at the bar seeking advice than others.
According to the BIP bartender, Derek Peth spent the most time at the bar during Season 6. Bachelor Nation fans may remember him from JoJo Fletcher’s season of The Bachelorette. He was also on Seasons 4 and 6 of BIP. Derek is currently engaged to model Saffron Vadher.
