Sadie Robertson Shares A Message Of Hope In The Time Of Corona

Sadie Robertson wants her fans to “stand firm in faith” amid the coronavirus pandemic. The Duck Dynasty star shared a message of hope. The reality star reflected on this difficult year. This comes after Sadie revealed that she tested positive for COVID-19 while pregnant with her first child.

The 23-year-old took to Instagram to share a photo of herself in a baggy blue sweater with matching shorts. In the photo, the former reality star showed off her wedding ring and a smile on her face. In the lengthy Instagram caption, the Christian influencer said that if a person is not “firm in faith,” that person cannot be “firm at all.”

Sadie Robertson explained how the verse from the Book of Isaiah spoke to her as the coronavirus pandemic continues to spread.

“This year has been crazy, and there is so much unknown,” Sadie wrote. “More and more people are feeling the effects of the change we have had to adapt to every day. In fact I asked my great-grandma yesterday if she remembers a time in her lifetime that felt like this and she said, ‘oh yes, world war 2.’ This is no joke.”

Sadie exclaimed that every day it seems like “we are stripped of our comfortability.” Then, she provided some ways that people can remain strong in this difficult times.

“I encourage you friends that in a day like this if you do not stand firm in faith it could be very challenging to stand firm at all,” she explained. “But like my grandma finished our conversation saying, ‘but I take hope in the fact that God is over it all.'”

The young star recovered from COVID-19 after being hospitalized. In addition, the Dancing With the Stars alum revealed that her mother Korie Robertson and sister Bella Robertson also tested positive for the mysterious virus.

Sadie Robertson calls COVID-19 a “really sick darkness”

Last month, Sadie Robertson revealed on Instagram that she tested positive for coronavirus while pregnant. She called it one of the “most challenging” experiences she ever had in her life. After sharing her surprising post, Sadie recalled the details about the “terrible” virus on her “Whoa That’s Good” podcast. The Live Original blogger described her symptoms, most of which were physical and mental.

“All the physical pain … on top of the loneliness of it and the isolation of it, makes you feel this depression that is something that I’ve never experienced before,” Sadie said. “I’m not going to lie, I cried a lot. It’s really a dark sickness.”

Then, the Louisiana encouraged listeners to have more compassion for those suffering from COVID-19. She also encouraged them to reduce the spread of the disease by wearing face masks. Sadie announced that she is pregnant with her first child, a baby girl, with husband Christian Huff in early October. The couple married in 2019 and celebrated their one-year anniversary.
