What Did Adam & Danielle Busby Do For Date Night?

Adam and Danielle Busby dumped their “half a dozen” girls at Uncle Dale’s house and split in a hurry to enjoy a kid-free night together. But, what did the Busby parents do during their night with no children? Well, Danielle was kind enough to offer fans an update on Instagram. So, what did Adam and Danielle Busby split and do for their date night?

Danielle Busby shared a series of video clips of herself picking the girls up from school. It was Friday. She asked the girls if they remembered what the plans were for the night. The girls recalled they were going to spend the night with Uncle Dale. And, they seemed pretty excited. Danielle Busby jested that she was going to “coax” the Mills into keeping their daughters overnight for a sleepover. So, it certainly sounds like they might’ve told the girls about the sleepover before even asking Uncle Dale and Crystal! Oops!

During the video clips, Danielle Busby proceeded to explain they were ditching the girls for the night so they could have a date night. They had plans to get out of the house. And, it sounded like it was going to be a late night. So, they didn’t want to have to worry about picking the girls up.

Danielle explains they had plans to go to a comedy show together. And, we know this is a pretty silly and goofy family that is always joking about something. So, heading out to a comedy show for a date night together certainly makes sense.

The TLC parents slept in, enjoyed the silence.

Danielle Busby admits it was nice to sleep in and enjoy the silence on Saturday morning. She said it was pretty rare that she gets to sleep in on a Saturday morning. Move over, her house is never silent on a Saturday. She and their dog were enjoying sitting on the couch being lazy today.

The captions of her Instagram Stories discussed the importance of “me time.” Sure, there were things around the house she could do. But, it was important for her to just take a little time for herself to relax.

Apparently Adam Busby tried to get Danielle to go to the gym with him while they were without children. She, however, shut down the idea of doing anything productive. She just wanted to enjoy how calm her home was for the night.
