‘DWTS’ Chrishell Stause Believes In ‘Signs’: Connection Between Her Mom, Dance Pro Gleb
Chrishell Stause has been dreading September 17 since July. But, the Dancing With The Stars competitor and reality star has found a shining light in the darkness. What is the connection between her mom and her dance pro, Gleb Savchenko?
DWTS Chrishell Stause Finds Comfort In Connection Between Her Mom, Gleb Savchenko
On Thursday, Dancing With The Stars competitor Chrishell Stause shared an Instagram post. She shared a smiling photo of her, along with her dance partner, Gleb Savchenko.
First, she shared how she was dreading this day. The Selling Sunset star revealed how this day was haunting her. This was her mom’s birthday. It was the first birthday that Chrishell would not be able to call her mom or celebrate with her in person.
Stause then added that her mom would have encouraged her to do DWTS. Chrishell even added that her mom would have thought she was the best dancer, but the former Days star knew that this would have been a mother’s love talking.
“Today had been looming over me ever since I lost my mom in July because it’s her 1st birthday without her. I knew my mom would have been the 1st person to urge me to do Dancing With The Stars -she would have told me I would be the best one even though that is far from true.”
Her mom is always with her
Chrishell then shared that her mom was always with her. She noted that there are “signs” that her mom is not far from her. One of those signs is that her dance partner Gleb also had the same birthday as her mom. How perfect is that?
“She has sent me so many signs letting me know she is still with me and I feel like knowing how much I was dreading today, it seems to have her touch on it that I am paired with @glebsavchenkoofficial who’s birthday is also today.”
Just that “sign” gave Chrishell Stause a reason to smile and laugh. While she spent time remembering the past, she knows that her mom remains close by, watching over her. Instead of feeling sad, she now feels comfort.
“It gave me a reason to celebrate them both and laugh and it’s all she would have wanted. Sorry to be overly sentimental today, but I believe in signs and wanted to share. Happiest birthday to two of the best! 💞#DWTS #TeamSellingIt 💕”
Chrishell Stause Lost Her Mom In July
In July, Chrishell Stause revealed that she lost her mom to cancer. Her mother died of lung cancer. What is more painful is that she lost her father on Easter 2019 of the same cancer.
As if that was not enough, Chrishell was blindsided by her husband of two years, Justin Hartley. The This Is Us star “blindsided” her by serving divorce papers right before Thanksgiving.
When he texted her that this was it, she thought the man that she considered her “best friend” was kidding her. She spoke to him and discovered, no, he was not joking. This was it.
What made it all more complicated was that the Netflix cameras were rolling. This was all getting filmed for Selling Sunset. Of course, this sort of devastating experience requires a mom’s shoulder to cry on. But, early in 2020, Chrishell’s mom got the devastating news that she also had lung cancer. She didn’t have long to live.
So, instead of being the one getting cared for, Chrishell became the caretaker. Now, her mom is sending her signs that she is there, looking over her shoulder.
