President Trump Shares Plans For Presidential Library
A Presidential Library isn’t a requirement but it’s a tradition dating back to 1962 when the Herbert Hoover Library opened in West Branch, Iowa. The Obama Presidential Center is under construction in Chicago, Illinois. President Trump chose Miami, Florida, as the location for his Presidential Library.
His son, Eric Trump, was in charge of planning the building. He shared a glimpse at what to expect. The AI-generated video showed a 50-foot-tall gold skyscraper with “TRUMP” emblazoned on it. According to multiple reports, the library will double as a hotel and a museum. It will reportedly feature two gold statues of President Trump, and a replica of the Oval Office.

Eric Trump wrote on Twitter that he put his “heart and soul” into the project. But it left Whoopi Goldberg unimpressed. The topic came up on The View’s “Hot Topics” segment.
“Did you see the rendition of the library that he’s building?… It looks like a giant p*nis,” she said about the Trump Library. Joy Behar chimed in, “It’s ironic because he can’t read, as it is.”
The topic then turned to the bunker that President Trump said the military is building under the ballroom. The East Wing of the White House was demolished in October to make room for the ballroom. “The White House is not your building. You can’t just put stuff there. It’s not your house,” Whoopi Goldberg said about the bunker.
“Why is there a bunker? And are all of the billionaires now, if something bad happens, going to — is the plan that all of them are going under?” Sara Haines asked. Joy Behar joked that the bunker is like a real-life version of Hulu’s sci-fi drama Paradise, where the wealthy elite built a bunker and left everyone else to die in a mass extinction event.
The View Hosts Weigh In On Army’s Helicopter Stunt
Trump’s Presidential Library and news of the bunker made headlines this week. Another hot topic was the Army’s helicopter stunt. Two helicopters flew low outside Kid Rock’s house so he could salute them. The incident was under investigation but Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth put an end to the investigation shortly after it began.
While the Trump administration seemingly approves of the stunt, it was blasted on social media as a waste of resources. Sara Haines called it “tone deaf” amid the war with Iran and rising gas prices. Joy Behar joked, “Why didn’t the helicopter make more noise so it could drown out the music?!”
