In addition to her on-screen roles, the actress is chief creative officer with GAF. Her new Christmas movie with General Hospital star Cameron Mathison finally hits the small screen after a limited run in movie theaters.
Another Sweet Christmas premiered on the Great American Pure Fix streaming app on Thursday, December 18. Fans can watch it on the Great American Family channel on December 20.
Actress Admits She’s Lost Jobs Over Beliefs
Candace Cameron Bure’s decision to leave Hallmark for the more conservative GAF still gets backlash. But it was based on the actress’s religious belief. The Full House alum is outspoken about her Christian faith and lets God lead her.
She recently sat with Us Weekly for a lengthy interview ahead of her 50th birthday in a few months. She admitted that her comments are often “misunderstood” or twisted. Candace Cameron Bure revealed that she’s been “canceled” in the past few years because of her religious beliefs.
“I’ve been dropped from contracts, and I have lost brand partnerships over the last few years. But I’m a fighter, man. I just keep getting back up and do the work I want to do,” the actress said.
She went on to compare herself to movie star Jennifer Lawrence. “She kind of stepped away, and now that she’s coming back, she’s turned people off. And she’s someone who has been so loved by the majority of people,” Candace Cameron Bure said.
She added, “It just goes to show you that no matter how wonderful you are, you just kind of can’t win. So I’m in the same boat.”

Candace Cameron Bure is at the age where many celebrities in Hollywood, California, start getting facelifts and other cosmetic procedures. The former child star has been open in the past about her eating disorder and other consequences of fame.
The actress admitted the pressure to get injections and plastic surgery is “very real.” She confessed that she finally broke down and got Botox.
“I was trying to fight this good fight, yet I was looking at my face getting more and more wrinkles, and I just wanted to get Botox. I feel better for it,” she said about why she gave in.
Candace Cameron Bure continued, “I really do want to age as naturally as possible, but I’ve always said I think everyone should age however they want to age.” She added that if she wants to get a facelift in 10 years, she will.
