Erika Kirk & Candace Owens Go To War Over Charlie
Following the shooting of political activist Charlie Kirk back in September, his name has been the topic of various discussions and theories. Recently, his widow, Erika Kirk, shared a few words for people discussing her husband’s name. Since then, one figure has also issued a response.
Charlie Kirk’s Widow, Erika, Was Recently Interviewed At A Town Hall Meeting
Charlie Kirk was a political activist known for co-founding Turning Point USA. On September 10, 2025, he was fatally shot while speaking at an event at Utah Valley University.
At the time, Kirk was taken to Timpanogos Regional Hospital in critical condition. He was pronounced dead later that afternoon. He was 31 at the time of his death.
Since his death, Kirk’s name has been the subject of various debates and conspiracy theories. One such figure who discussed Kirk after his death was Candace Owens.
Owens had previously worked for Turning Point USA and she and Charlie were considered friends. A day after his death, Owens posted a 25-minute video saying she wanted him remembered for his ideas and career.
According to CBS News, Owens later pushed conspiracy theories about his murder over the following months. This also included “unfounded fraud allegations about the finances at Turning Point.”
At a town hall meeting set to air on Saturday at 8 PM ET, the outlet’s editor-in-chief, Bari Weiss, spoke with Kirk’s widow, Erika, about what she would like to say to Owens and others spreading conspiracy theories. She responded, “Stop. That’s it. That’s all I have to say. Stop.”

The outlet also noted that Erika also received a Treasury Department letter that confirmed “none of the tax-exempt entities she oversees are under investigation by the IRS.” Notably, Erika now runs Turning Point’s finances following her husband’s death.
A senior Treasury official also shared, “The IRS is able to provide this type of information upon request by the taxpayer. And in this case, it’s hideous that malicious lies and smears obligated [Erika Kirk] to make the request.”
For her part, Owens issued a response in a recent episode on her YouTube series. On Erika’s command to “stop,” she shared, “So, Erika would like me to stop lying, and I would like to honor that. I can only honor that if Erika is more explicit in terms of what I have lied about.”
Owens continued, “Where am I lying? Because I would like to stop if you can tell me.” She also discussed a recent Fox interview in which Erika was asked about Charlie’s burial site. At the time, Erika shared that she didn’t want to be “worried about some secular revolutionary coming and destroying my husband’s grave while my daughter is sitting there praying.”
In response, Owens accused Erika of wanting “privacy when you want it” and “publicity whenever you want it.” Saying, “That just doesn’t work. It doesn’t work that way,” Owens also accused the widow of having “Meghan Markle Syndrome,” in regard to wanting privacy.

Candance needs to walk in Erika’s shoes before she opens her mouth.
both need to come together to benefit kirk legacy and bring more power to the movement. stop the the fighting. stop bickering. Come together, drop and stop with conspiracies and all the other bullshit. or both will lose out.
