Teen Mom fans first met Gary Shirley on MTV’s 16 & Pregnant when he was dating Amber Portwood. The two were expecting a daughter and ended up getting engaged. Unfortunately, her mood swings caused the relationship to end, and he took custody of their little girl, Leah. There were too many issues with Amber, her anger, and sobriety, so this was the best decision. He then met Kristina, and the two welcomed a daughter as well as tied the knot. She became a mother figure for Leah while Amber was absent, and there have been requests for Kristina to adopt her stepdaughter.
Now, Kristina is showing off her new slim figure as she posed with Leah. It was the sixteen-year-old’s homecoming dance, so Leah donned a little black dress and burgundy heels. She took snaps with her father, who has also been on a weight loss journey. Additionally, she shared photos with Kristina, who was all smiles in an off-the-shoulder cream top and skinny jeans. She completed the look with flip flops and looked years younger. Fans have long loved Kristina and her relationship with Leah.
They appreciate how willing she was to step up as a mother and how she has always had Leah’s back. Kristina even gave Leah a promise ring to let her know that she would always be around for her. That has meant so much since Amber Portwood is never emotionally available. After seeing the snaps of the Teen Mom twosome together, fans and followers were obsessed. They could not help but gush over how grown Leah was and how slim Kristina had gotten. It was even noted that Leah favored Kristina, which was likely a huge compliment.
