It is the beginning of football season, and fans cannot wait for the big games to finally begin. Travis Kelce is a top player for the Kansas City Chiefs, while his girlfriend is none other than Taylor Swift. She has had a series of failed relationships, all of which made for great music and multiple Grammys. Come October, Taylor will release a new album, which she showcased on Travis and his brother, Jason Kelce’s, podcast. This was a huge deal to have Taylor on as a guest, and it was clear that she and Travis are meant to be.
Now, on Tuesday, August 26th, 2025, the couple announced their engagement via social media. They started with a snap of Travis on his knee while Taylor embraced him. Following that was a close-up of a huge oval diamond in a gold setting. She donned a striped sundress while he wore short sleeves, and they were surrounded by flowers. In the caption, Taylor Swift wrote:

They turned off comments for the post, but their fans are undoubtedly thrilled with this huge news. Many have been speculating when this would happen.
