‘DWTS’ Lindsay Arnold Upsets Fans For Lack Of Awareness
Dancing With the Stars pro dancer Lindsay Arnold has found herself in hot water with fans after her recent TikTok post went viral for all of the wrong reasons. Dancing With The Stars Pro Lindsay Arnold Trashed In The Comments
Lindsay Arnold was a pro dancer on Dancing With the Stars for ten seasons. Her last appearance on the show was during Season 30 when she was partnered with Matt James. Arnold’s sister Rylee also dances on the show. Rylee is expected to return next month for Season 34. Recently, Lindsay found herself in trouble with fans after she posted a TikTok. Many fans felt the pro dancers’ post was out of touch with the struggles of people. The star’s recent TikTok left fans divided. On Saturday, Aug. 23rd, she posted a clip of herself holding two shopping bags — one from Gucci and the other from Louis Vuitton. The text overlay on her video said:
“When you got peer pressured by your sisters into buying way too many things while on your girls’ trip in Aspen….”
Lindsay captioned her post: “Ugh hate when this happens… 😜”
The DWTS pro dancer meant to post a cute, light-hearted video to share with fans. However, the response from fans has not been what Arnold expected. Many fans felt the clip showed the star was out of touch with what normal people go through. People flocked to the comments to share their thoughts. They said:
- “Seems super appropriate for the times.”
- “Over consumerism core 😍.”
- “I bought food today.”
- “Rich people problems, must be nice.”
Fans also took to Reddit and echoed the criticism on TikTok, one fan said Lindsay showed “zero self awareness” and that she was “bragging” about her wealth.
Some Fans Ask Lindsay Arnold For More Content
Even though many fans were offend by Dancing With the Stars pro Lindsay Arnold’s recent TikTok post, some fans also stood up for her. Fans took to the comments to stick up for the pro dancer. Many felt she had earned her money and deserved to spend it how she wanted regardless of what fans think she should spend money on. Fans defended the pro dancer, saying:
- “I had a feeling the comments were going to be mean. You work hard for your money, you go Lindsay.😅❤️.”
- “She works hard for it! I’m not sure why everyone is complaining 😂.”
Some fans even asked for more shopping content form the pro dancer. Some fans asked Arnold to do another video which featured a shopping haul. Lindsay Arnold’s fellow DWTS pro dancer Emma Slater even commented, “Reveal!!!!!! We want a bag reveal!” Calling for star to share what exactly she bought at Gucci and Louis Vuitton.
