Actress Candace Cameron Bure has taken to social media to ask fans for prayers. This comes out as the star found herself in the midst of an ongoing disaster. The story also brought to mind a previous decision Bure made about Los Angeles in the past.

Bure started her career as a child actress, gaining fame of the sitcom Full House. She later starred on the Netflix spin-off, Fuller House. Over the years, Bure also became known for appearing in various Hallmark and Great American Media projects. In 2022, she also became Great American Media’s chief content officer.

In addition, Bure has also shared her story with fans on social media, including her podcast series on YouTube. Recently, she called on fans for aid amid a natural disaster.

As noted by Parade, Bure recently took to Instagram Stories to share, “Will you pray? We have a big fire in our valley,” complete with prayer hand emojis. She later added, “Y’all it’s a big one. Lots of planes dropping but it’s moving and burning and it’s 104 degrees.”

During her share, Bure did not specify if she was being required to evacuate the area. She also didn’t specify where the fire was taking place. According to the nonprofit organization Watch Duffy, several wildfires were reported as being in Northern California as well as near San Clemente.

Last year, Bure shared that she and her husband, Valeri Bure, have moved out of Los Angeles. However, they have not shared specifics on where they live now. Bure previously explained that none of their children live in Los Angeles and they don’t feel safe. Bure also spoke about the situation with Fox News Digital.

Speaking with the publication, Bure shared, “We didn’t feel safe anymore. And that was the biggest reason that we moved. Not everyone in Hollywood lives behind guard gates, and we weren’t behind gates.”

The actress also noted “quite a few problems over the years.” This reportedly included fans taking photos of the family and hiding on the property.

Bure added, “It’s amazing what people feel they can do. And wanting to be a part of your life in some way. Some of it is innocent, some of it wasn’t. But it’s quite unnerving when you’re just trying to be a person and live life, and you don’t know what’s around the corner.”

Although Bure didn’t specify where she moved to, she has confirmed that she still lives in California, as this story highlights. As previously reported, Bure had criticized rumors saying she lived in Texas as “fake news.”
