‘Breaking Amish’ Jeremiah Raber Unrecognizable With Shocking New Look
Former Breaking Amish star Jeremiah Raber is unrecognizable with a shocking new look. Fans have not seen him on television since Season 7 of Return to Amish, which ended in 2023. So, what does he look like now? Keep reading for more details.
Jeremiah Raber Unrecognizable
It has been over two years since Jeremiah Raber was last on television. Return to Amish, the spinoff of Breaking Amish, ended on Season 7, and he was in the middle of getting life answers. He had been on a mission to find his biological father while also building a life with his wife, Carmela. They were trying to have a baby and start a family, but they were struggling. Ultimately, the show ended as did their marriage, and Jeremiah attempted to move on. He was seen in different phases of his life and came out to express his sadness over Mama Mary Schmucker’s passing.
Now, Jeremiah and his former co-star, Rebecca Schmucker, have gone live on social media, and followers were shocked at his new look. He donned long brown hair under a baseball cap, which was atypical for the reality star. Jeremiah previously had a cropped cut, but this was a whole new style, which was odd to many who had not seen him in some time. Some wondered if his new hair was courtesy of a wig, a badly done one at that. They were shocked that Rebecca looked exactly the same, and he was so drastically different.
Seeing the former Breaking Amish stars back together was clearly exciting, as any reunion with them is great. However, fans have long worried about Jeremiah Raber and want to make sure he is doing okay and taking care of himself. The long hair did not look bad; it was just a whole new Jeremiah that no one was anticipating. He did appear healthy in the face, which was a relief, and the hair was a change. Whether or not he will keep this style is unknown.
A New Man
Breaking Amish fans were taken aback by the hair on Jeremiah Raber and had a lot to say about it. They wondered if he and Rebecca Schmucker had returned to their Amish lifestyles. That is highly unlikely given that they were using social media and cell phones. One noted that they had seen Jeremiah before this reunion with Rebecca, and his hair was short again. Therefore, the belief is that he was “trolling” his fans and followers:
- Rebecca looks like herself. He’s a freaking weirdo. Between the dresses, makeup and wigs, I figured after he went back Amish this would be the farthest from His norm. Is he not Amish anymore?

Whatever his reasoning for wearing a wig or having long hair, it is great to see him and Rebecca all over again. Is his new look shocking? Yes, but that is how Jeremiah has always been.
