But Troy continues to thrive in alligator hunting with his crew and family. Swamp People: Who Is Brandon Landry?
Brandon is the stepson of Troy. He joined the family after Troy married Bernita. Since then, Brandon has joined in hunting for alligators alongside Troy’s biological sons, Jacob and Chase. However, Brandon only appeared in the first five seasons of the show. But despite leaving, the Swamp People star has kept his life close to the swamps, teaching his children about the things he learned hunting alligators.
Brandon Going Through Hardest Time In Life
It has been a difficult year for Brandon and the rest of the Landry family. It was because of the heartbreaking condition of his son, Crue. Crue was diagnosed with a rare liver disease, biliary atresia. It eventually progressed to end-stage liver failure, which would require him to undergo a liver transplant. Brandon and the Landry family have tried looking for a donor for months.
But the Swamp People stars have been unlucky for quite some time. Brandon has asked for continued prayers for his son. Fortunately, they eventually find a donor for Crue. They immediately went with the operation. But things only got even scarier because of how dangerous the surgery can be. Brandon even shared a heartbreaking photo of Crue with tubes and a massive scar on his body following the surgery.
Swamp People: Brandon Landry Shares New Updates About Baby Crue
Brandon Landry recently took to FB to share new updates about his son, Crue. The Swamp People star shared a photo of Crue finally being able to stand and smile after getting his liver transplant. According to Brandon, they’re happy that Crue is now in a regular room, meaning that he’s now on his way to full recovery. Many fans also took to the comments section to express how happy they are for Crue.
