Todd & Julie Chrisley Shock In 1st Public Appearance Since Release
Todd and Julie Chrisley have shocked fans in their first public appearance since being pardoned and released from jail. The longtime couple has been seen out individually, but they have yet to be together until now. So, how did they look, and what did followers have to say? Keep reading for more details.
Todd & Julie Chrisley Spotted Together
It has been a long two and a half years for Todd and Julie Chrisley after they were sentenced to a total of nineteen years behind bars. They were unable to see each other as he was in Florida while his wife was in Kentucky. Regardless, they did not give up on each other and their love, and neither did their children. Their daughter, Savannah Chrisley, worked tirelessly to get them freed and did whatever she had to so her parents could come home. She stood by the president with the hopes he would pardon Todd and Julie, and he did.
Upon Todd and Julie being released, they were both spotted out individually. She was seen walking with gray roots and brown ends, while he was all spiffed up for a press conference. Now, she and Todd are out and about for the first time together since leaving jail. On their night out, they posed with another couple as Todd donned casual black and Julie was in a patterned blouse and cream slacks. They looked happy to be together, but fans felt that Todd and Julie had very different jail experiences.

It has been said that Todd Chrisley seems better and younger than ever upon leaving Pensacola. He was happy to be in front of the cameras and back in action. As for Julie Chrisley, that was not her experience. She was happier at home, doing laundry and snuggling with their youngest, Chloe. When she was spotted out, after she had been refreshed, many felt that she looked traumatized. More so, they believed she needed more time to process what had happened and undergo serious therapy.
Polar Opposites
Not only did Todd Chrisley do a press conference with Savannah Chrisley, but the two also attended a black tie event. He looked radiant, and it was clear that he enjoyed being back in the spotlight. Moreover, he promoted the Chrisley family’s new series, which had stopped filming but picked back up when he and Julie were pardoned. Julie Chrisley was seen in a snap her daughter took and posted, but everyone could see the sadness in her eyes. When she and her husband were snapped out for the first time, that same sentiment abounded. No one thought she looked like her happy old self, but Todd was all smiles:
- She looks so dead in the eyes and no sparkle to her smile. I hope she can get as much help as she needs
- You can definitely tell they had very different prison experiences.
- It may be just me but Julie does not look the same. You can see it in her eyes that she is not ok.
- How did Todd fare so well from his prison stent, yet Julie did not? Is it because he was in Federal? Is it THAT much better than where Julie was?
Some noted that they were worried about the couple’s status after not being seen out together. Others had hoped that Julie would leave Todd and start a new life. However, the general consensus was that Julie looked great but needed to get the best help possible.
