Bank Files On Tori Spelling For Thousands & Doubled Interest Owed
Reality star, actress, and podcaster Tori Spelling is in serious hot water with the bank, as they filed a judgment for thousands. Plus, the interest that she owed has now been doubled, so that is not boding well for her. Keep reading for the exact amount that Tori owes, and how she will rectify it.
Tori Spelling Owes Thousands To The Bank
It is no secret that Tori Spelling has long struggled with her finances. She overspent for a very long time and lived way beyond her means. Furthermore, she jumped into various failed business endeavors and was left in debt. When she was married to Dean McDermott, they had serious money problems, but it looked like she might be getting on track. She was working on various projects, starred on DWTS, and launched her own podcast, misSPELLING. Unfortunately, things have only gotten worse with a past debt that she owes, as the amount has exploded before her very eyes.
Back in 2012, Tori and Dean took out a $400K loan, and they vowed to repay it with any necessary interest. Unfortunately, that never happened, and four years later, the bank complained that the couple owed $188,803.38. It did not end for Tori and Dean, with the bank still wanting its money, but they failed to comply. By 2019, there was a default judgment, and they were each ordered to pay over $200K. Tori’s amount was $219,796.66, whereas Dean’s portion was $202,066.10. Now, six years later, Dean has been removed from the suit, leaving just Tori to pay up.

Tori Spelling now owes $395,729.82 on a $220,088.37 debt, meaning she has amassed $175K in interest and extraneous fees. Several years ago, when Tori and Dean were still married, she and their kids were constantly ill. They learned they had a severe mold problem in their home and needed to leave. She headed to a motel with their five children and eventually got an RV. The couple parted ways, and it was alleged that Tori’s mother, Candy, offered to help her with a home, but she declined.
Pay Up To The Bank
As of now, it is unclear how and when Tori Spelling will pay the debt off, if she even can. She had previously joked about her money problems, saying she would have to resort to OnlyFans to support her kids. Her close friend, Denise Richards, even tried to get her to come aboard the OF train. She and her daughter, Sami Sheen, have done incredibly well on the site and felt Tori would be a natural. In the past, Tori also owed $100K in back taxes on her Calabasas home. It is unknown if she paid them off in order to be able to get another place or if she still owes that on top of her debt. Despite her debt and money problems, Tori recently received praise for honoring Dean on Father’s Day:

She had previously been bashed for her parenting and how she may be too close to her kids. Tori Spelling has confessed that her children come to the bathroom with her and do other odd things. Yet, there is no denying that she loves her family and has made beautiful babies.
