Deadliest Catch Season 20 is one of the most productive seasons that the show has ever had. The 20th season of Deadliest Catch featured four boats doing their best to close out a huge haul before the crab season ended. However, Captain Sig Hansen faced some issues on his vessel, forcing him to manually navigate the raging seas. Captain Jake, who was forced to work for Hansen, had to make some adjustments as well. During the same season, viewers were also able to witness Captain Keith’s cardiac arrest. There hasn’t been any news regarding Keith’s status. But he was able to get proper medical assistance shortly after suffering from cardiac arrest.

Discovery Channel has yet to officially announce a new season of Deadliest Catch. However, Captain Jake Anderson previously took to IG to share a photo from a fishing vessel showing off a huge crab haul with a caption, “…waiting ……waiting ….. waiting ….
DEADLIEST CATCH STARTS MID JULY.” Many were surprised by Jake’s announcement. But what’s noticeable is how Jake said that it’s going to air in June. It’s known that the show typically starts somewhere between March and April.
Discovery Channel also films with the crew around October and January due to the crab season. Due to this, some fans can expect changes in how the season will be laid out this month. There are speculations that it could be shorter, considering that it didn’t air in April, which could mean that they will be in a rush.

Last March, the Deadliest Catch star shared details about his condition. According to Bill, his numbers are good when it comes to his cancer. He also did a long trip with his family to focus more on his recovery. He stated, “Thanks so much for all the good wishes. My numbers are good cancer wise.The trip was a wake up. Post was ment to be positive and exciting , crazy trip! Again life looks good , if you’re in a rut… Get out of it .”
