‘My 600-Lb Life’ Dominic Hernandez Life Update After Becoming Homeless
My 600-Lb Life star Dominic Hernandez is one of Dr. Now’s most unfortunate patients. He appeared on Season 8 weighing 672 pounds. Just like many other patients of Dr. Now, Dominic also suffered from a traumatic childhood, which ultimately led to his unhealthy relationship with food. My 600-Lb Life: Dominic Hernandez’s Weight Loss Journey
Dominic was determined to turn his life around when he appeared on the show. However, the My 600-Lb Life star struggled following Dr. Now’s regimens. He couldn’t comply with the drastic changes in his diet, failing to reach his goals of dropping 60 pounds in two months. Dr. Now showed him tough love and gave him another chance. But he barely progressed after initially dropping 23 pounds. Dominic eventually realized that he couldn’t fulfill his goals, leaving the show at 650 pounds.
What Happened To Dominic After Becoming Homeless?
Dominic Hernandez was still struggling to find a home when he parted ways with Dr. Now. However, the My 600-Lb Life star launched a fundraiser in 2022, telling fans that he’s now living in an apartment. But he’s still struggling to generate income while he’s battling his weight. Due to this, he asked for financial assistance so he could focus on his goals. Dominic was able to raise $11,398 before he terminated his fundraiser, which could be enough to pay for his rent for quite some time. Several people also reached out and sent Dominic positive messages on the fundraiser’s page.

My 600-Lb Life: Did Dominic Hernandez Lose Weight?
Dominic Hernandez has yet to share updates about his weight loss journey today. But on his GoFundMe page, he revealed that he’s now below 500 pounds, adding that he now feels much better with less knee pain. The My 600-Lb Life star also revealed that he’s now focusing on his mental health. Dominic has also made some FB posts later in 2024, as well as one update on IG last January. But his IG post was only about the passing of an American actor.
Last October, he celebrated the championship of the baseball team, the Dodgers. This also indicates that he’s now well-off in life. Unfortunately, Dominic doesn’t seem interested in sharing photos of himself online, keeping many fans curious about his physical journey.
