As Farmer Wants A Wife fans have seen, Colton Hendricks is one of the farmers looking for love in Season 3 of the popular reality dating show. While Colton has certainly done his share of kissing this season when it comes to the ladies on his farm, whether or not he finds a lasting match in the end is still something that remains to be seen.
One of the things that Colton Hendricks has to consider is, not just who would be a good match for him, but also, someone who could be a good future stepmom to his young son. So, as the ladies get eliminated and things get down to the wire, Colton certainly has a lot to think about, especially as he gets closer to narrowing things down to the final two women.

When you are running a farm, having horses around is not just for status or aesthetic. Horses become the backbone that helps the machine run on the daily, and they are a big part of what makes working farms today successful. Recently, Colton Hendricks introduced his Farmer Wants A Wife fans to his favorite horse, and he had plenty to say.
Colton Hendricks shared a clip on social media featuring his favorite horse and his young son riding it. However, according to Colton, his horse did not become his favorite horse overnight. The farmer went on to tell his followers that he got Earl about two and a half years ago after dropping $1,000 on him.
Farmer Wants A Wife Fans React To Adorable Moments Between Horse And Colton’s Son
Colton went on to tell his Farmer Wants A Wife followers that he “hated” the horse in the beginning. He said he was “terrible to deal with” at first. After a rough first six months, Colton admitted that Earl is now his favorite horse that he has ever had, and he has proven to be a big help on the farm, too.
Not only is Earl good when working with cattle, but, the horse is also gentle enough that Colton’s young son can ride him, which Colton showed off in the video as well, with both his son and the horse beside him. Colton went on to say that Earl is an “all-around,” and it’s obvious that the relationship between Colton and Earl has grown in a big way.
