Swamp People star Ashley “Deadeye” Jones is back with heartwarming news on social media. She’s been documenting her life as a mother since leaving the show after Season 15. She debuted on Season 10 and worked with the Landry family and the rest of the crew for five seasons. But she wanted to prioritize her family and her Mississippi-based law firm. Swamp People: How’s Ashley Jones Today?
Ashley continues to stay in touch with the fans on social media. Many of her posts today are about her fun activities with her family. The Swamp People star is still hunting gators. But she’s been more into fishing over the past few months. She also admires her husband, who loves animals as much as she does. Ashley and her family often hang out on lakes to go fishing. Many fans also commend her for teaching her kids hunting and fishing skills instead of making them succumb to modern gadgets.
Ashley Rescued Multiple Lives
Ashley Jones recently took to IG to share that she just saved the lives of over 20 chickens and 5 turkeys last night. She rescued all of them and is now keeping them on her property. Ashley even shared a photo of one of the chicks she rescued. Many fans were amazed by Ashley’s big heart for animals. Ashley later uploaded a photo of her son watching over the animals they rescued.
She couldn’t help but gush over her boy, saying, “Why I didn’t name my son his daddy’s Jr is beyond me! They are JUST alike 😍 Don’t mind me, I didn’t have time for hair and make up 😂😝” Meanwhile, some fans told Ashley that she’s beautiful even without makeup on.

Swamp People: Ashley Jones Shares Last Gator During The Show
Aside from rescuing chickens and turkeys, Ashley also shared some throwback photos during her time on the show. One of them was her last alligator hunt on Swamp People. According to Ashley, she hasn’t watched her final season, saying that she and her family don’t really watch TV. Ashley then said that she thought it was going to be her last Louisiana gator.
But she’s still hunting alligators all season long in Mississippi, adding that it was one of the things she loves to do the most. Ashley Jones continued, “Getting to go hunt or fish when I want is a luxury of mine I don’t take for granted! Thank y’all for being so supportive of me stepping down from TV and thank you for still following my adventures!”
