She no longer wrestles with gators, but it’s clear that she learned a lot of hunting skills from Troy Landry and the rest of the crew. She has also been into turkey breeding and hunting. But many were surprised when Ashley opened up about the time her life almost spiraled out of control.
Ashley Reveals She Was Headed To Prison Before Being Saved
In a social media post, Ashley Jones shared a photo of herself as she celebrated Good Friday. The Swamp People star took the opportunity to share a story about how her life almost didn’t turn out how she wanted it to be. According to Ashley, she doesn’t know where she’d end up if she didn’t get to know Jesus. She added, “For me hell was alcohol and he delivered me from that prison! I owe him everything for my life today! I’ve never been in a better place mentally and spiritually.”
Ashley then shared that she replaced alcohol with prayer and strengthened her relationship with God even more. She continued, “I love it! My prayer is that at least one of you take a step closer to God today! He’s got you!” Many fans were also proud of what Ashley has done for herself.
Swamp People: Ashley Jones Celebrates Huge Milestone
Last March, Ashley took to social media to share that she’s now two years sober. The Swamp People star uploaded a photo of herself showing off her major glow-up since quitting alcohol. Many fans were amazed by her transformation. Some also commended Ashley for prioritizing her family even more.
Ashley Jones also shared a new photo with her family as they celebrated Easter. She captioned, “Happy Easter from my family to yours! 🙏🏼✝️🕊️” She also revealed that they went fishing as part of their holiday activities. She also assured her followers that they still regularly attend their church.
The 17th season of Swamp People hasn’t been officially announced. But some members of the Landry family have already shared photos and clips during filming.
