‘RHOC’ Star Lydia McClaughlin’s Brother Shot, Killed By Police
The Real Housewives of Orange County star Lydia McClaughlin’s brother was shot and killed by police officers in California. TMZ shared the news about what happened and how Lydia is taking the news.
Lydia McClaughlin’s Brother Shot By Police
Lydia McClaughlin’s brother was on a traffic stop when he ended up being shot by police officers. Geoffrey Shyam Stirling was riding a motorcycle along the Pacific Coast Highway in Newport Beach when he was pulled over by police officers. This all went down on Thursday night. The news did not break until Friday. So far, Lydia has not posted anything on her social media about this either.
A source shared that Geoffrey was “uncooperative” with police. One officer shot him on the scene, but he later died at the hospital from his injuries. It was revealed that none of the police officers at the scene were injured.
Lydia Issues A Statement
Lydia issued a statement to TMZ and shared that they are not taking the news well. She said, “My family and I are devastated by the loss of my brother. We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support from friends, family, and the community. We kindly ask for privacy as we mourn.” Her brother was 45 years old at the time of his death. More details should come out later, but so far, there is not a lot of information about his death.

Lydia was on Season 8 of The Real Housewives of Orange County. She also came back during Season 12. She is no longer on the show, but fans do remember her from her time as a real housewife.
