Kim Kardashian is currently renovating her $60 million mansion. While this is not big news on its own, there are now reports that she is renovating because of a new romance. She is adding a new wing to the home with several new rooms, and it might be because of a new man.

Kim Kardashian Making Renovations To $60 Million Home
Over the last few months, Kim Kardashian has been making renovations to her $60 million mansion. Kim has added a brand-new wing to the home (via Realtor.com), and the work is almost completed. Kim, 44, bought the home in 2014 while married to Kanye West.
While Kim only paid $20 million for the home in 2014, Kris Jenner claims it was worth $60 million when discussing the home. Regardless, Kim paid $23 million to keep the mansion after she divorced Kanye so she could continue to live there with her four kids: North, 11; Saint, 9; Chicago, 7; and Psalm, 5.
There was also word that a judge blocked Kim from creating underground spaces in her home. These included an “underground vault, subterranean parking, an attached subterranean ‘wellness center’ and a detached guardhouse (via PEOPLE).
The new home renovations had some photos from November 2024 by Realtor.com that showed workers adding the enormous extension to the house. This includes multiple new rooms after a gut renovation of the home. One neighbor tried to halt the work on her home, but a judge denied the request.
Kim and Kanye renovated the home when they bought it and transformed it into a polarizing look. Some praised the neutral tones; others said it was “cold” and “unwelcoming.” Now, people are wondering if the new renovations have anything to do with Kim Kardashian’s mysterious new boyfriend.
Kim Kardashian’s New Boyfriend Might Be Behind Renovations
Kim Kardashian has a new boyfriend, but she is keeping his identity a secret. She isn’t even saying who he is when talking to her family (at least on the reality TV show). This is unusual for someone with usually high-profile boyfriends. After Kanye, she dated Pete Davidson (2021-2022) and Odell Beckham Jr. (2023-2024).
However, Kim said that her new boyfriend is not famous. “I had the intention of staying single. I was fully lying to you guys,” Kim said on The Kardashians. “Me not dating and not wanting love and attention? I don’t think you know me.”
However, there are some fans who believe the new boyfriend is a celebrity photographer named Mert Atlas. This was thanks to their interactions at a recent SKIMS party. However, there have also been rumors that she is dating a real estate investor who isn’t in the public eye, which could explain the home renovations (via Page Six).
