Young & Restless’: Will Fans See Aristotle Dumas Face Soon?
A mysterious figure has already got fans speculating on The Young and the Restless, even without making an appearance. Aristotle Dumas has seemingly become involved with various characters’ lives so far on the soap. However, fans have a reason to think the big reveal could be happening right around the corner.
The Young & The Restless Fans Are Already Trying To Figure Out Who ‘Aristotle Dumas’ Could Be
Jermaine Rivers’ Damian had previously been established as working for Dumas. Since then, his connections to other characters seems to be stretching out.
Eric Braeden’s Victor also later appeared to have a connection to the figure. Billy, played by Jason Thompson, might soon join up with a business proposition with Dumas as well.
Fans are already wondering just who the character could be. After all, while more and more characters seem to know his name, no one seems to have ever met in person, at least recently.
As previously reported, one possible clue could be in his name. “Dumas” evokes Alexandre Dumas, who famously wrote The Count of Monte Cristo. Some fans suspect, much like Dumas’ famous count, Aristotle could be a character looking for revenge.
This could also hint at the character already having a connection to the people of Genoa City. With “Aristotle Dumas” as a possible alias, the character could turn out to be a former character from the soap.
In fact, as noted by Monsters & Critics, Victor admitted to having a past with Dumas. However, it’s still possible that “Dumas” is only using the identity for their current plans.
One Possible Candidate For Aristotle Dumas Might Be Familiar To Soap Fans, But Not To Genoa City
That said, with more and more characters seemingly finding themselves in the web Dumas is weaving, fans are wondering when they will get the pay off. On social media, one fan noticeably wrote, ‘Aristotle has to show his face either next week or week after. Can’t keep dragging this out past this.”
The publication noted that “Dumas” could be used to bring back a character fans haven’t seen in a while. One suggestion was Cane Ashby, amid rumors that Daniel Goddard could be returning to the soap. Another character suggested was Tucker McCall, as played by Trevor St. John.

That said, Dumas doesn’t necessarily have to be a familiar face, at least not to residents of Genoa City. As previously reported, Billy Flynn has announced that he would leave Days of Our Lives and join The Young and the Restless in an unspecified role. This has already gotten fans wondering if Flynn will be the one to lend his face to Dumas.
As the publication noted, there is another reason to believe Dumas will be unveiled soon. May sweeps is coming up and fans are anticipating the soap to do something big. In the interim, at least, fans can expect teases and name-drops all before the big reveal.
