TV Shows Ace recently got the chance to talk to Jordyn Mallory of Farmer Wants A Wife about her time on the show. Find out what she had to say about Season 3 and looking for love.
Jordyn Mallory Talks Casting And Love
How did you get cast on ‘Farmer Wants A Wife’?
I had a casting agent reach out to me about a game show and after talking with her she suggested Farmer Wants A Wife. I didn’t think too much about it until a little while later my moma really wanted me to audition. My little cousin, Lucy Kate, is very invested in the show and got me to watch it with her and then I knew it was something I would love to be a part of. I truly never dreamed that I would actually get on the show.
Which farmer are you trying to find love with?
I am on Matt’s farm, in California.

Jordyn’s Experience On The Farm
What can you tell us about your experience?
This was the craziest and coolest experience I have ever been a part of. I had no clue what I was getting myself into but I loved every second of it. One thing that is so special about Farmer Wants A Wife is that they are known for friendships that come out of the show and that has been 100% true for me. I absolutely loved my time on the farm with the girls and we got so close. Since the show has been done filming, we have gotten even closer. Another unique thing about me is that I grew up in the south so when I think “farm”, I think chickens, goats, pigs, etc. Getting to go live on an avocado orchard in California was such a unique experience. There’s nothing cooler than needing a fruit for a meal and walking right out the door to pick it. We even saw a tarantula roaming around!

Are you still close with any of the girls from the show?
Yes! I am really close with the girls from my farm but also have great friends who were on other farms too. Our group chats are nonstop entertainment.
Why did you want to try this way to find love?
I’m 32 and hadn’t met my person yet. I was genuinely ready to get married and start a family and I thought wow, I got chosen to do this, it must truly be meant to be. So I went for it!
