‘The Masked Singer’: Who Is Stud Muffin?

The Masked Singer has already eliminated six contestants from Group A and Group B this season. This week, it is time to meet the Group C singers. The costumes in Group C include Cherry Blossom, Mad Scientist Monser, Nessy, Stud Muffin, and Yorkie.
There was a sneak peek at the Group C preview, where the theme is Carnival Night. In this, Ken Jeung seemed to be taking a wild guess at the identity of Stud Muffin. However, Nick Cannon appeared to shut this down instantly. Here is what we know.
Stud Muffin On The Masked Singer
The Masked Singer preview showed a bit about the five new singers, although very little let people hear their voices. There was a hint of Cherry Blossom singing “Let’s Get Loud” by Jennifer Lopez. At the same time, it gave a glimpse at the costumes, which looked as impressive as ever.

This preview also showed the panelists making some guesses. Robin Thicke and Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg guessed Luke Bryan and Blake Shelton for one of the singers. While this makes it sound like a country musician might be behind one of the costumes, Ken Jeung then went overboard with one of his guesses.
“This is the season we finally get Shaq!” Ken exclaimed (via Instagram). This led to Nick Cannon’s response, which was, “I don’t think you guys have a clue who it is.”
Who Is Studd Muffin On The Masked Singer?
There has been only one preview for this week’s contestants on The Masked Singer. There was a preview of Yorkie singing. It was a female singing Chappell Roan’s “Hot To Go.” Several people predicted that Brenda Song is behind that costume and voice.

However, there has been nothing about Stud Muffin. If Ken Jeong thinks it is Shaquille O’Neal, there is no way that is what the country singers Robin Thicke and Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg were talking about. The images make it appear that Cherry Blossom is female, Nessie and Stud Muffin are both male, and the Mad Scientist Monster is likely male.
That said, Shaq is likely not behind the mask. Also, we can’t guess who is behind the costume until the hints package and first performances play out on the show.
Six singers have been unmasked so far. Cedric, the Entertainer, was Honey Pot. Oscar De La Hoya performed as Fuzzy Peas. Aubrey O’Day wore the Ant costume. Scheana Shay took on the role of Bat. Flavor Flav unmasked as Space Ranger and James Van Der Beek wore the Griffin costume. On tonight’s episode, one more person will be unmasked.
The Masked Singer airs on Fox on Wednesday nights at 8 p.m. EST.
