Sherri Shepherd Says Female Celebrity Accused & Grabbed Her
Sherri Shepherd attended the Othello Opening Night on Broadway in New York City. While she expected to have a good time and enjoy the shoe, things did not work out well for the talk show host. Instead, she had a celebrity allegedly accost and insult her at the event. However, Sherri is not someone who will take that lying down.

An Unnamed Celebrity Accosts Sherri Shepherd At Broadway Show
Sherri Shepherd was on her daytime talk show, Sherri, on Monday, and she wanted to talk about her experience attending the Othello Opening Night performance on Broadway. However, she really wanted to talk about an incident at the show when a celebrity reportedly accosted her.
Sherri didn’t mention the celebrity by name but did emphasize it was a “she.” The talk show host also said they accused her of something she didn’t even do. “I’m standing there, and I was talking to Khadeen and Devale Ellis, and Devale Ellis is on Sisters,” Sherri explained. “So this unnamed celebrity actress, who shall remain nameless, I’m standing there talking, somebody grabbed my arm, and they forcefully turned me around.”
Sherri was having a good time, so when this happened, she just played it off and asked how the person was doing. Sherri said she knew the person and assumed they wanted to say hi. However, that isn’t what happened. “And she says to me, she goes, ‘You’ve been shading me a lot.’ That’s what she said to me,” Sherri said.
Shepherd was shocked and said she didn’t do anything of the sort. However, the celebrity said, “Yes, you have,” then walked off.
Who Was This Unnamed Celebrity?
“I know who I shade because I don’t shade many people. It might be one person I shade. And I never have shaded this unnamed celebrity,” Sherri Shepherd told her audience. However, she also said that she was mad and people “don’t freaking get to do that to me.”
Sherri said she waited in the bathroom during the show’s intermission, hoping this unnamed celebrity would come in there to settle this, but it didn’t happen. She then delivered a message to the celebrity: “I would say to unnamed celebrity, because you think I shaded you — which means you watch my show — I don’t know who you think I am. I think you get me confused with somebody, one of the bloggers or the influencers, because I know I didn’t shade you.”
Sherri even said she took up for this person recently. They were involved in “something scandalous,” and Sherri said she was on her side.
With that said, it seems the unnamed celebrity has been identified. A source at the event claims that it was Friday star Nia Long (via Page Six).
