Bobby Flay Reveals He Was Once Rejected By Kristin Cavallari
News has recently come out over a new relationship for Bobby Flay. The celebrity chef is said to be dating one of his Food Network co-stars. However, in the past, Flay has admitted to once being rejected by another television personality, Kristin Cavallari. However, he also claims the story was a complicated one.
Bobby Flay Discussed The Story On Kristin Cavallari’s Podcast
Bobby Flay has been married quite a few times over the years. This includes his marriages to Debra Ponzek, Kate Connelly, and Stephanie March. Notably, he and Connelly share a daughter, Sophie.
However, news has come out that Flay is in a relationship with his Food Network co-star, Brooke Williamson. Notably, the two have appeared on Bobby’s Triple Threat together. Williamson is also notably the Season 14 winner of Top Chef.
According to Page Six, Flay had also once admitted to once getting rejected by another television personality beforehand. This had been MTV star Kristin Cavallari.
Cavallari first rose to fame as a cast member on the MTV series Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County. She later appeared on the spin-off series, The Hills. Eventually, she would star in her own E! reality series, Very Cavallari. Since then, she has also hosted her own podcast series, Let’s Be Honest with Kristin Cavallari.
As the publication noted, Flay made headlines back in November when he revealed Cavallari rejected messages he sent her. Notably, Flay had shared the story on her podcast.
As Flay shared, while talking with Cavallari, “I DMed you and I said to you … ‘I’m going to be in Nashville for one night. Can I take you to dinner?’ And you literally said something to me like, ‘I’m already dating somebody.’”
Flay Claims That Kristin Cavallari Misread What He Was Asking Her
Cavallari claimed that things went a little differently. She instead claimed that she told Flay she was a little “burnt out” with the dating scene at the time.
Flay countered this, all while claiming the whole thing was a misunderstanding. As he revealed, “No, you said, ‘I’ve already started seeing somebody!’ And I said, ‘I just want to go to dinner with you.’” In other words, Flay claimed he only meant to go out as friends.
Cavallari then apologized for assuming Flay wanted a relationship. As she mused, “It was like foot in mouth.”
According to the publication, the two eventually did go out for dinner and had “the best time.” However, it was unclear when or where this took place.
Flay also shared some kind words for Cavallari. As he noted, “She’s fun, she’s a baller, she’s a mom, she’s got three kids. She runs her jewelry business, she runs her podcast business, she runs her whole Kristin Cavallari life, and she does it incredibly well.”
