Jenna Bush Hager Shares Horrific Injury
It has been a whirlwind for Jenna Bush Hager ever since Hoda Kotb left her side. It was questioned who would take Hoda’s place, but NBC opted to make it Jenna-centric. They launched Jenna & Friends, and every week, a new guest joins her at the table. She has had Scarlett Johansson on, and they both got pierced on live television. Fans really liked the dynamic between the two women, and now, she has welcomed her sister, Barbara Bush. The sisters have had a lot of laughs, but the mother of three hurt herself severely and felt the need to show it to viewers.
On Monday, March 24th, 2025, Jenna shared that she had dislocated her middle finger. This is not uncommon for Jenna as she has a habit of fractures and breaks when it comes to her fingers. She started by telling her sister that she had a splint and thought Barbara could sign it. Barbara then asked what had happened to her, affectionately calling Jenna “Sissie.” Jenna went on to share the gruesome details:
“I unfortunately dislocated my middle finger.”
She did not go into deep details about how the injury occurred but told production to “put a warning on, because we’re going to show the picture.”

Her middle finger appeared to be in a Z shape and was severely uncomfortable to see. Barbara Bush told viewers to not watch if they were “queasy.” Jenna Hager Bush went on to add that she has broken or fractured three fingers in her life, so this is nothing new:
“Now some people may think, ‘Wow, that’s the first time something’s ever happened to your finger.’ In the X-ray the guy said, ‘Seems like you have a lot of hairline fractures in this finger.’ And I said, ‘Well, now I’ve broken three of my 10 fingers.”
The End Of The Breaks
The sisters pointed out how things happen in threes so Barbara Bush was hoping this was it for Jenna Bush Hager. Apparently, Jenna also has a history of claiming she’s been injured when she was fine. That meant her family stopped believing that she was hurt and let her go. After seeing Jenna’s snapped finger, what were fans’ reactions? Most just wanted her to get better very soon:
