American Idol fans are seeing a lot more of Carrie Underwood these days, as she is settling in nicely to her new role as a judge on the popular reality singing competition. Typically, before accepting this high-profile gig and returning to the show that launched her career, the only way viewers would get to see her was either through social media updates or seeing her in concert.
Now, however, American Idol fans get to see Carrie Underwood whenever they tune in to watch Season 23 episodes. In addition to filming the show, she also has to do a lot of press, and different things to help promote the season, and the vast majority of viewers love getting to see more of her, too.
Underwood Looks Unrecognizable In New Idol Promo
Part of the job description for Carrie Underwood as a new American Idol judge is to participate in various press events and videos to help promote the new season and build the hype. In a recent clip featuring Carrie Underwood, it showed her all glammed up for the cameras.
However, one thing that viewers may not have expected is her keying the side of a car while singing the lyrics to one of her iconic songs. While doing this, Underwood sang: “I’m digging my key into the side of his pretty little souped-up…”
She then stopped, encouraging viewers to “tune in to figure out what’s going on.” She also wrote in the caption of the clip: “Ladies, don’t do this. You’ll ruin your car key! 😂 #CUonIDOL.”
