Ozzy Osbourne Will ‘Fly’ In Air During Black Sabbath Farewell Show?

Ozzy Osbourne’ final show, which will include a reunion with other members of Black Sabbath, was recently announced earlier this year. Since then, more details have been shared over what fans can expect during the event. This includes some words from the “Great Ozz” himself.
Ozzy Osbourne Might Go Airborne This July During His Final Concert
Fans may have been introduced to Ozzy Osbourne from his music or his reality series. However, he first came to fame as the frontman of the heavy metal band Black Sabbath.
Ozzy is set to reunite with his bandmates for one final concert show in July. Recently, fans have recently been given some hints on what to expect for the upcoming show.

As noted by Billboard, the upcoming show will be titled, Back to the Beginning. The event will take place at Villa Park in Birmingham, England on July 5.
Ozzy will reunite with Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward. Notably, Osbourne will perform despite dealing with Parkinson’s disease, as well as neck and spinal injuries. As previously reported, Ozzy also occasionally uses a wheelchair and recently had a lift installed in his home.
Zakk Wylde, a guitarist who has often collaborated with Osbourne, also teased what fans could expect during the upcoming event. This could include literally going airborne.
Zakk Wylde & Ozzy Himself Shared A Few Things That Fans Can Expect
Speaking with Riff X’s Metal XS, Wylde shared, “With Oz and his throne that just flies over the stadium or whatever, [where he] shoots out buckets of water and does everything like that. So if Oz has a great time and it’s just, like, ‘I wanna go out on the road again,’ it’s just, like, ‘Good. Let’s do it again.’”
“Ozzy was just sitting at the chair and he was singing ‘Mama, I’m Coming Home,’ and it sounded great. So hopefully we’ll just do this, and then Oz will go, ‘Let’s just fire up the machine again and we’ll do another tour.’”

Wylde continued, “Everybody’s gonna be playing Sabbath songs. It’s gonna be pretty mind-blowing.”
It was noted that Ozzy would not deliver a full set during the event. Black Sabbath will feature groups like Metallica, Slayer, and Anthrax. In addition, other artists, like include Lamb Of God, Alice In Chains, and Halestorm.
Osbourne himself also spoke with what fans could expect during the event. Talking on his SiriusXM show Ozzy Speaks, he shared, “I’m not planning on doing a set with Black Sabbath but I am doing little bits and pieces with them.”
“I am doing what I can, where I feel comfortable. I am trying to get back on my feet… When you get up in the morning, you just jump out of bed. I have to balance myself, but I’m not dead. I’m still actively doing things.”
