Michael Strahan’s 20-year-old daughter Isabella is learning to walk again after her fight against brain cancer. She is sharing with her supporters what it has been like for her to return to physical activity after she struggled with cancer. Isabella received her diagnosis in October of 2023, and she underwent emergency surgery to remove a large medulloblastoma. Her tumor was located in her cerebellum and was malignant. Michael Strahan Supports His Daughter Isabella Through Cancer
Michael Strahan fully supports his daughter as she recovers from cancer treatment. Treatment for Isabella Strahan’s medulloblastoma included three surgeries, four rounds of chemotherapy, and six weeks of radiation. She documented her entire treatment journey on YouTube. The 20-year-old has been sharing updates on her recovery on social media. Isabella went on the Beyond the Battlefront podcast and shared what she regrets about her health struggle. She shared that she lost a lot of weight during her cancer treatment and that she regretted not getting up and moving more. Isabella explained:
“I know it’s super hard at times and I did not want to move, but I wish I just made myself walk, even 100 steps a day because I lost so much of my leg muscle. It was not funny. It’s not fun to get back because I’m paying for it now trying to work out and everything. I’d tell myself, ‘Move. Move yourself. Drink a lot of water.’ All the health stuff.”
Isabella Strahan shared a vlog on July 18, 2024, announcing that she was cancer-free. She captioned her post, “After the wildest 8 months, I finally got to ring the bell. Grateful for my journey 🩶.” Fans were very supportive of Isabella as she moved forward and into her recovery period.

Recently, Michael Strahan’s daughter Isabella posted an update on her experience of relearning to walk and run again after her battle with brain cancer. Isabella’s most recent video compares her walking right after her brain surgery to a more recent clip of her going on a light jog by herself. She captioned her clip:
“Things gets better ❤️🩹time heals. Not perfect but progress! Relearning movement is tough but rewarding.”
