‘Bachelor’ Arie Luyendyk Jr. Addresses Lauren’s Disappearance
‘Bachelor’ star Arie Luyendyk Jr. and his wife Lauren are among the franchise’s most popular pairings. Fans are heavily invested in the couple’s lives. So much so that they have been sending Arie frantic messages asking where his wife is after her sudden disappearance. What’s going on with Lauren?
Arie Luyendyk Jr. Addresses Concerns About Lauren’s Disappearance
Millions of viewers watched Arie Luyendyk Jr. fall in love on Season 22 of The Bachelor. He fell in love with both Becca Kufrin and Lauren Burnham. Torn by his emotions, he initially sent Lauren home and proposed to Becca. However, he quickly realized he made the wrong decision.
Cameras were there to catch the moment Arie broke up with Becca. He went on to propose to Lauren during the After The Final Rose special. They married in 2019 in Hawaii, and later had vow renewals in Las Vegas and Aruba.
The couple didn’t wait long to start their family. They welcomed their first child, a daughter named Alessi, in 2019 a few months after their wedding. Twins Senna and Lux joined the family in 2021. Arie and Lauren thought their family was complete after the birth of the twins. The Bachelor star underwent a vasectomy.
In a shocking change of heart, he had it reversed. The couple announced earlier this month that they are expecting another baby in September.
Arie and Lauren Luyendyk share many aspects of their lives on social media. They also have a vlog on YouTube where they share updates about their family life. With all the various social media accounts, they are both super active online. So fans noticed that Lauren hadn’t been posting content recently.
Apparently, fans became so concerned about Lauren that they started sending Arie messages or commenting on his posts asking about her. He finally had enough and took to Instagram earlier this week to address her disappearance.
Bachelor fans can rest easy knowing that Lauren Luyendyk is just fine. She’s just really, really tired. Arie posted a video of Lauren napping at different times and locations throughout the last few weeks.
“Didn’t mean to worry you… She was just asleep lol,” he captioned the short clip. He added in the comment section, “Lauren’s first trimester summed up in 10 seconds.”
