‘Bachelorette’ Katie Thurston & Jeff Arcuri Are Married
Former The Bachelorette star, Katie Thurston is officially a married woman. She and her fiance, Jeff Arcuri have tied the knot on Saturday, March 22nd. So, how did the nuptials go down, and what is next for the couple? Keep reading for more details.
Katie Thurston & Jeff Arcuri Are Married
Right now, The Bachelorette alum, Katie Thurston is in the fight of her life. She was recently diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 34. It is Invasive ductal carcinoma which can be very aggressive. From there, she had to figure out her family plan as she would soon undergo treatment for the cancer. Unfortunately, chemotherapy and radiation can make it so conceiving is not possible. Therefore, she and her then-fiance, Jeff Arcuri took two weeks to focus solely on IVF. They got out 17 eggs and made 6 embryos which will be great for them to start their family one day.
To add to the excitement, Katie and Jeff decided to tie the knot. They wed in their backyard on Saturday, March 22nd, 2025 in front of their parents and their dog. For those who are following the couple, Katie slipped up and shared they were tying the knot:
“It was so sweet. Obviously, we were wanting to plan a wedding and there’s a lot of emotions that come in with chemo and the impact and the health and we don’t know what the next year looks like. And one night he said, ‘I want to show you that I still love you and that I’m here to stay. I’ll get married to you tomorrow.’ We flew our parents in from Michigan and Washington State. We got our marriage license and a friend is just gonna marry us.”
Of course, a big wedding is in The Bachelorette’s future when she has kicked cancer’s behind. For now, this is more than enough for Katie to know that Jeff is not leaving her side.

The couple met via social media and had their first in-person meeting in May 2024. A few months later, they were engaged. March 22nd is a very special date for Katie Thurston as she had shown her friends Jeff and told them that was her future husband. It seems she knew all along that he was her person.
In Sickness & Health
Katie Thurston really felt her vows with Jeff Arcuri given her current circumstances. When he spoke to her, she knew that this was completely the right move:
“It was this kind gesture of him saying, truly, in sickness and in health. He is proving that he’s here to stay. He shows up every day and he does it in ways that just continue to surprise.”
Jeff has noted that he wanted to call The Bachelorette alum his “wife” when she was undergoing treatment. More so, there was not a moment he wanted to miss as she fought for her life. After it came out that they had gotten married, fans and followers were elated for the couple:
